Medallion Security Door and Window Co.

I had a full view glass storm door with sidelites installed in front of my Provia entry front door. The door is very sturdy such as thick heavy metal, lexan glass is clear, the hinges are smooth and strong, the lock is secure, the powder coated paint is beauty. the weather striping is robust and tightly sealed. The manufacturing process took a little longer than expected. A minor adjusted was needed for the lock. Medallion sent someone out immediately to solve the problem. My Provia Front entry door is awesome. I really wanted a full view security storm door to allow the Provia door to be on full display. In addition, to providing full security. Medallion knock it out of the park.

I am leaving this review of Medallion because I have not been able to get a resolution to a problem with the door installed in my sunroom. I have been trying to get a repair done on the rubber seal on the door for 5 months. I have made no fewer than 12 calls and no one has been out to repair the seal. And with the constant rain we have been having the wood panel next to the door is now starting to warp. I am so disappointed with the non-response over my concerns. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and they still have not responded.

I am leaving this review regarding Medallion Security Door and Window Company. In addition, as a customer I rate them with 5 stars. Why? First of all Medallion installed my back security door about 20 years ago, and I still use it, it's a little rusty now but that's due to my neglect. Second, I visited Medallion's show room in late June 2022. Erlin R. showed me around and provided just what I needed in terms of assistance, information and professionalism. Peter, came out a week or so later and measured my front entrance and on July 13th. 2022 Caesar and crew came out and installed front security door. I am satisfied 100%, plus I have received information on how to care for door which is a plus for my investment. THANKS MEDALLION & GOD BLESS. Sinclair H.

The project was very costly and the worker damage my driveway in the process.

We have some touch up work scheduled to close out the job. The installers were great so far. First rate. I am concerned that the sales person told me the "new product" they have now does not rust. I would subsequently discover this is not true, the new bars will rust. Perhaps there is some confusion and a good explanation for a misunderstanding, but I am disappointed. The work looks very good except for the items I hope to have touched up.

Erlin came to the rescue. I moved in a new neighborhood and after I was only there 2 days and a neighbor home was broken into. So I called Erlin came and demonstrated how the security doors & bars worked. He scheduled me the same week for measurements & the following week I got installed Monday. My installer was Cesar & Marlo they worked fast and the work was done nice & neat. They are very professional…

I contacted this company for a quote and the guy who came to my home was supposed to be the area manager. He talked so fast and so much I should have known something was not right. Yes, the doors were pricey and I was offered financing with what he promised would be no interest. He lied! So in the end the doors will end up costing me an additional $1500 and require me to be in debt for 5 years - not 3 as originally quoted. Buyers should be cognizant of this. They have some extremely deceptive practices and language in which they employ. They will lie and quote you a price and tell you that the price includes any/all applicable interest. It does not! I am so mad about this and will never use them again nor refer to any family/friends or associates at all.
