Reviews
Write a ReviewOf the three companies that bid my exterior house painting, they came in the lowest. But it seems it's a "get what you paid for" situation. They did a great job of scraping and removing the paint from the old wood siding. However, after a primer coat and a "Good heavy top coat" there are places where the bare wood shows through. When approached about it, their solution was to charge an additional hourly rate to come make it right.
Great to work with! Very conscientious!
Chase was fast and honest. He did amazing work and we will definitely recommend him to friends and colleagues! He was clean and picked up after as if he never showed up! Loved working with him and his communication was spot on also!
Chase did an amazing job with painting the complete interior of our new home, along with doing a beautiful job on staining our barn doors, front door and stair railings. We have received many compliments! He was responsive, easy to work with, thorough, and very fair financially! We will definitely use him again!
Chase was easy to work with and did a great job completing a massive job of painting the exterior of our house. Weâ ve subsequently rehired Chase for additional paint work inside our home on multiple occasions and with each job we have been very happy with the results. Great service, Dependable communication. Really like Chaseâ s transparency and integrity.. We appreciate working with Chase and his company.
Second Update: As I continue to live in my house that has been painted by Madd painting, it has become very clear that Chase did not do what he promised he would do. There was no paint behind my toilets, and for my ceiling, I have had to apply an additional coat to cover the original paint. Once again I would NOT recommend this crew they did a horrific job on my house! UPDATED: After being in our house for a couple of weeks I have definitely changed my mind about hiring Mad Painting again. There are so many spots that were not painted, or they were only painted part way. I get the impression that he typically takes on smaller jobs and we had him paint our entire house. He made the comment that it is hard to know what people what, some people do not want any runs and some want their walls covered well. I am sorry if I hire a professional painter I do not think asking for both is too much. ------------ Original review: Chase had his hands full when he agreed to paint our house. My wife and I are very particular about how we wanted things and Chase worked extremely hard to meet our expectations. The only complaint I had and the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were extremely messy, for example they had KFC for lunch one day and after it sat in my house for 4 days I finally picked it up and threw it away. Also, it took me several hours to clean up all of the mess that was left behind once they had completed the job. Would I hire them again, yes I would, I would just make sure expectations are very clear before we start.
Chase was great to work with! Heâ s a hard worker- and paid attention to detail. I felt very comfortable having him in my home even when I wasnâ t around. Iâ d definitely hire him again!
Great service. Great communication. Great value. After they finished the project I hired them for, I had them back within a week for an entirely new project. Iâ ll 100% hire them for my next painting project.
