Owens Corning Basement Finishing System

Our existing Owens Corning wall panels had been damaged in a basement flood. Although the framework and panels had changed since our initial install some 20 years ago, they custom made new panels that fit perfectly. Additionally, they replaced interior doors and repaired drywall. The work was done on our schedule and done to our satisfaction. Their customer service was great. They came back out to adjust a door that wasn't closing perfectly.

We'd been planning to remodel our basement for a long time, and had spoken to a lot of contractors over the past few years. We finally decided to go with these guys as they, and the Owens Corning system, gave us more confidence that it would deliver what we needed. Right from the start, the team was great to work with - taking care of all the necessary permits etc. They were able to start work ahead of schedule as well, which was great. We weren't at the property during the remodelling, but the team was easy to work and communicate with - they kept us up to date at every step, regularly sending pictures of progress. Once the remodelling was complete, we had a walk-through and pointed out a few small issues (closet doors not quite aligned - that kind of thing - nothing major). They returned to address those issues within a few days. The result is a fantastic new basement space - we couldn't be happier and we'd recommend these guys every time.

Yes Ednardo was a complete professional and a bull worker. One thing though there is one floor panel, just mine that is coming up other than that everything is in perfect condition.

I recently completed an approximately 800 sq. ft. basement renovation with Owens Corning/Lux Renovations, including a full bath and wet bar, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The project began earlier than expected, stayed on schedule, and was completed beautifully in five uninterrupted weeks. Our project manager, David Guimaraes, was professional and always accessible by phone or text, and onsite weekly, while onsite supervisor Alvaro was present daily and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction—including adjusting a wall so a large piece of furniture would fit perfectly. The materials were high quality, and I appreciated the flexibility to substitute my own fixtures, with changes made seamlessly and without issue. I love my basement!!! Ultimately everything went exactly as agreed. I am very happy with the work and the material we selected. The basement was mostly finished prior to the project, but we have noticed a huge improvement in the areas that were added and the all new flooring. The added electric was done professionally and it showed. The communication was fantastic with the project manager, who was responsive and courteous. I would recommend this addition or renovation to anyone who’s considering it. The value it adds to a home and to your lifestyle is worth every penny.

The basement project was handled well from start to finish. The sales team, project manager and especially the worker himself were amazing. They understood our needs and were able to make it work. I also work from home and the construction did not cause a negative impact. The space is amazing and has already seen some heavy use during the past couple months.
