Shortly after submitting my request I received a message from Leo, Leo Landscaping. I returned his call not long after I received it. He wanted to come by and look at what needed to be done and give me a price. At first he said he would come by at 2:30 PM then quickly changed it to 3:00 PM. Finally showed up at 4:00 PM. He looked around and after a few minutes gave a quote for what it would cost. We discussed several things about the work. I asked Leo "if that was the best offer he could give me". He replied, "what, is the price too high". He thought about it for a minute. He then said, "I'll take off $100.00". After he gave me one price then he added $100.00 to his original price. It got to the point when I was feeling he was out to intimidating me. I asked him to write up his final offer officially and he says to me, "you write it up and I will sign it". He goes on to say he could do the work next Thursday. I explained to him that his proposal is the first one I'm getting for the work. I like to get at least 3 or 4 quotes before deciding. He started talking about himself and his good rating and that once he says something that he will do exactly what he said he would do. "If you want to wait for someone else that's okay". He was doing and saying anything to get me to agree to his proposal on the spot. I asked him to send his proposal to my email and he began walking away to get in his truck and drive off, without saying if he would. From a contractor that has gotten high reviews from Home Advisor clients, in my opinion he did not act like he should. Very disappointed with this encounter. The bid I got from Leo Landscaping was more reasonable than ones from other. I hired for the job but was not a totally satisfying experience. If you can deal with an "additude" you shouldn't have a problem. The job got done in 2.5 hours and I would say that's reasonable for the work needed to be done.

They were very professional. Hard working crew- very pleasant to each other and To us. Everyone should enjoy their co- workers as much! They were respectful of neighbors property and any clean up there as well. One was worried that their truck may have hit a sprinkler and the situation was addressed immediately.
