Lake Shore Restoration, LLC

We contracted with Lake Shore Restoration to repair the grout in two bathrooms, one bathroom on Friday and the other bathroom on Monday. They asked us to clear the first bathroom prior to their arrival on Friday, and since the counter was completely clear, we cleaned it as well. After they left on Friday afternoon, we started returning our stuff to the first bathroom when we immediately noticed a sizable chip out of the countertop. It was not at all the kind of chip one could miss when cleaning the countertop on Thursday evening. Although it was clear to us when the chip must have occurred, it was not at all clear to Lake Shore Restoration, They insisted that we had chipped the countertop ourselves even though we were not in the bathroom. They eventually offered us $250 towards the damage, a small fraction of the cost of replacing the countertop. Although their work was good, we will end up spending double what we budgeted for fixing our grout, not a good experience.

They are competent, honest, and explain everything in full, including how long it would take. Communication is excellent. They were well-mannered and comfortable, and we would recommend them to family and friends. The work they did is fantastic, and the price is wonderful. I would like to give more than 5 stars if given.

Scheduling was easy. Louie arrived on time and worked uninterrupted until the job was complete. He made a raggedy-looking old tub look very nice, and presentable, in order to sell my condo. He was friendly, respectful of my things/home, and just generally a professional. Cleaning tile, regrouting and caulking - I'm pleased with the end result and give my experience with Lake Shore Restoration five stars.

Absolutely the best! Quick response and completed the work within about 24 hours of the response. Communication was great and I was able to pay over the phone with a credit card (the best part since I m the landlord and not always on site!). The price was right as I know he went to a lot of trouble to get to my place. Will call in the future!!!
