Reviews
Write a ReviewNightmare. Shysters. Liars. Have worked with the Attorney General of MO for more than half a year to work this out. LHS No longer returning calls to AG. Out 4500.00 on windows Robert came out and measured 3 times. 8" too short. Quality is 9th grade 1st time wood shop class quality. Solid maple cabinet doors-VENEERS. Still owes me shelves, drawers for the bar/pantry area. The kick plate under the cabinets are not maple, painted grey, I don't even know what they are. Scrap? No clue how to build Euro cabinets. Tried to work it out through the AG, they should be in jail for FRAUD. I can't even get a contractor to touch this mess to fix it. Refuses to give me his insurance information. Forgot to flash the deck, water pouring in from a window downstairs during a rain. Tried to blame it on the window that never leaked prior. The 'custom' maple island top, flood coated with a 'river' running through it. $1,750.00 couldn't be used it was so sub par and 1' too short. Said he didn't have time to fix it would refund. Zero $ back. If you want pictures, I have them! Save yourself the heart ache, loss of time and money, NEVER use them. If you want pictures, documents, I have them. Changes their company name to avoid legal ramifications. ID them by Lisa Hunter, Robert Hunter, James Hunter + 1 other son. Would love to post pictures of their terrible quality.
The entire project was a major disappointment. The tile was installed poorly and inconsistently. Grout lines had a huge variation in size and tiles were not flush with adjoining tiles. Their excuses were, the tile had different thicknesses, was warped, walls were not flat. Two pieces did not even match the rest that was installed and the excuse was, that is what came out of the box instead of telling us so we could go buy additional tile it was installed anyway. Similar problems were encountered with cabinets, countertops, and vanities.
I would highly recommend LHS. They did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel and built in entertainment center. I would definitely call them for jobs in the future.
Thank you for the review.
Explained what I needed. Expectations were met.
Robert was wonderful to work with. I told him what I was wanting and he created it beautifully! We had two very large custom built ins for our living room made. He was timely, good at communicating, a pleasure to work with and his craftsmanship was impeccable. Highly recommend.
