Kulk's Plumbing and Heating

We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk?s Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. * John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had ?conferred? with John Kulk and repeated the same question, ?perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??? * During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can?t find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk?s employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We cannot recommend this business. BUYER BEWARE.

James was great. Vacuumed and scraped my Well McLain Gold. Changed nozzle. Plus cleaned and adjusted my Burnham High efficiency in my rental. Price went up from 286 .00 each to 351.00 . Over 21 % inflation. OUCH

Great company that offers excellent and timely service. Would recommend them to anyone.

From the time I called them at 11:22 this morning, to total completion time with them leaving was a total of about 3 hours(2:20pm). That includes: Taking my call, dispatching a plumber, them arriving at my house, assessing the situation, leaving to get a new water heater(which I already knew was needed), coming back and installing it. The plumber Rich and his apprentice were polite, professional, punctual time wise from the estimate/assessment time to the completion time. Rich explained the LED blinking indications, and if somehow the pilot light went out, how to restart it. And showed me where the giant sticker explaining the blinking light status was. All in all I can not say enough good things about Rich, his apprentice, and Kulk’s as a whole. Even the woman I spoke to on the phone was understanding and sympathetic to my situation. And she was just as polite and professional as Rich.

This company was very professional and easy to work with. They came and hooked up the water line for the ice maker in our new fridge/freezer. They worked very hard and of course the power went out! They were able to do the job anyway.

I needed an emergency bathroom faucet line fixed that broke. I made a couple of phone calls for a plumber not knowing anything about local plumbers I figured whoever can make if take. One plumber was unable to help but recommended Kulk s Plumbing and Heating. I called and they were able to come and fix our issue. The repairman arrived quickly. The repairman, Peter, was so polite, helpful and was able to fix the problem. I am so grateful for Kulk s plumbing. I know I will be calling for any future plumbing needs. I would definitely recommend Kulk s to anyone.

Kulk s Plumbing offers an outstanding level of professionalism and service and as a design professional in the construction industry I do not praise easily. Every technician is knowledgeable, courteous and skilled. The scope of work they did for me was a fair amount of plumbing during a house remodel- bathroom upgrade, new half bath, new kitchen, new gas boiler and heating with radiator upgrades, etc. The work was always on time and any hitches were dealt with effectively and efficiently. All the connections are clean and functional. Our new bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. I must compliment John on running a fine job.
