Reviews
Write a ReviewJepson Tree gave us a good quote. They showed up on time and finished the work of cutting down large oak trees from our backyard in a timely manner. All crew members are professionals. They did excellent work. I would call them again when I need similar work.
Got a text this morning from my septic engineer that 2 more trees needed to be removed and they expect to start on Monday :-| Dave was very responsive. Came out with his crew in the afternoon, very friendly, was done in a little over an hour. Cleaned up great... even trimmed another tree complimentary. Nice!
Dave and his crew were awesome. They took down a giant pine and some maples quickly and safely. The team was prompt, professional, and gave us a great quote. From the initial assessment to the clean up, all went smooth. If you need tree work done right, these are the guys to call. Highly recommend!
After that last winter storm (2026), we found our biggest tree fallen in our yard. I called a bunch of contractors and got the usual mixed bag of responses. some bad, some good. Jepson Tree was the best by far. But Jepson actually wasn't our initial choice, because they were out of town when I got most of the estimates. We went with the cheapest estimate we had, and let's just say that was a mistake. So we found ourselves scrambling, and David Jepson offered to come by the same day (even after I had to reschedule twice, both times my fault). Compared to all the contractors I spoke to, David was the most professional and friendly, he gave us the quickest estimate, and he proposed the most useful options to access our inaccessible back yard (which might have been a harder task than the tree itself). We talked through my uninformed questions about a bunch of things. And then he fit us in for the very next day! And for all that, he charged us the *second* lowest amount out of all the estimates. Yeah, we'll definitely be hiring again. We have a lot of trees, so that's a "when" and not an "if".
Dave and his crew did an amazing job fully removing about 20 trees on my property in Southborough, MA. He also left me some firewood and transplanted 3 large shrubs. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend!
Dave and team were fantastic to work with. Dave was super responsive, sought to understand what we wanted done, worked with local tree warden, and communicated very clearly. The team was careful, tidy, and professional. Great overall experience and highly recommend.
I recently hired this company for a tree removal project and was extremely impressed with the entire experience! The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and clearly took safety seriously throughout the job. The pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and the work was completed exactly as promised. What a transformation! I would not hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional tree removal.
Wow great crew very professional and fantastic work . Spent 2.5 hours watching them cutting down trees with crane , very cool . Cleaned up area very nicely after finished. WILL use them again If you are looking for a tree service company Look no further
DISHONEST, ZERO CREDIBILITY, LIKES TO TAKE ADVATANGE OF ELDERS On May 2, 2025, the contractor provided a quote of $3,000 for removing fallen trees and stumps. He showed up for one day of work, during which his machine broke down, and he completed only about 25% of the removal job(have not started on stump grinding yet). He then pressured my elderly parents, who are both in their eighties and suffer from Alzheimer?s, into paying him $2,000. They are not in a condition to handle high-pressure situations, and I was not present at the time. Given that $2,000 significantly exceeded the value of the work completed, the contractor happily chose not to return and instead began making a series of excuses. At one point, he offered to refund $1,000, but when I tried to collect the refund, he changed his story again saying he will come back to finish but stopped responding to me. It appears he does not keep his words, lie consistently, and is willing to take advantage of vulnerable people whene
