We highly recommend James Peck Landscaping. He did a total landscaping of our large front and back yard that had both been reduced to dirt and weeds after a year-long construction. We got bids from several companies including a couple of the big outfits. James Peck's designs were by far the most detailed and thoughtful, taking into account of exactly what we were looking for and how we would actually be using specific the spaces. He was not the cheapest bid, but he was giving us so much more than anyone else and worked with us to get down to within our budget (such as using smaller plants). In the end, we think we got far better value than if we had gone with the low bid. After signing the contract Mr. Peck stayed in regular contact throughout the design process and then supervised every aspect of the installation personally. Because he owns his own nursery and grows most of the plants he installs, he was able to make changeouts up to and even during installation. His crew was professional and everyone had clearly worked for him for long enough that they knew what he expected. The outcome was not just stunning, it was transformative. James Peck is an old school craftsman in the best sense of that term.

Great experience. Removed bushes and dead tree, replaced sod in several areas, planted flowers, and mulched an extensive area.

My only complaint was after the installation I discovered the irrigation system was not working in the area of the installation. A sprinkler head had been removed which caused this zone to not function properly.

Jim Peck and his crew were amazing and wonderful. They finished an extensive job in two days as promised. They were professional, friendly and neat. Jim gave me a quote with an exact drawing of the work proposed. He scheduled the job quickly and kept his word and more about everything. The yard looks tropical just like what I asked for. I would recommend this company without reservation. Great job!! In a few months I will be calling him to do a few more things as a second phase of the project.
