Hired John Kolp to trim a willow tree and remove buckthorn. They were on time and did a great job. Clean up was great and they even put wood chips in another area of the yard for us. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again.

I called John Kolp at noon today, telling him I wanted a bush taken out in front of our house. . . and it's 1:32pm and he's already at my house working on it! Talk about fast and courteous customer service!! He makes every minute count, and you don't see that much today! Would I recommend him? Y E S!! THANKS JOHN!!

Put in request at 2 am, John Kolb was at my home at 8 am to check out job. Called me at 8:30 am to set up appointment. Professional, and knowledgable. Job went quickly and smoothly despite job being on very busy street (John put up cones and tape night before), and the gas line (yikes) running right under the tree to be removed. Because of the above, John came out several times, to make sure the job was done safely (ie no grinding stump with gas line under it, etc)! Crew of guys was great, finished the job in maybe an hour and a half (two story cedar tree removal, dead shrubs, and tall hedge). Chipping and grinding too. Cleaned up quickly and off they went to another job. Oh, and they rescued a mourning dove's nest in the hedge and moved it to safety with mama dove watching anxiously! I also got sound advice for a replacement tree. John knows his trees. Very good experience. It really pays to hire professionals to do the job right. Cost is competitive and there is peace of mind knowing that company is not going to do anything foolish with a 50 foot tree (neighbor with chainsaw, dropped his tree into the street).

They removed my tree and the stump. They were on time, friendly, professional, left the area totally clean, and I am having them come back in Spring to do more tree and bush removal. If you want excellent work done, this is the company to call.

Very professionally done

My first impression of John is that he's a straight shooter. He was up front about the cost and did his best to give me a good deal. Professional and courteous, when he and his crew went to work they did not fool around. The massive tree was gone by the time I got home that day and the clean-up was excellent. I'd hire them again or gladly recommend them.

The guys were very hard working and pleasant.
