I hired JWC to repair my sill plate and associated face boards, an approximate 4x28 foot area sitting under my patio door. To do so, he and his crew had to jack up one side of the house and work in a tight crawl space and outside in nasty weather. Jordan and his crew were very easy to work with and displayed excellent attention to detail. His rates were most reasonable and he did an excellent job of answering my questions and addressing my concerns in a timely manner. I plan to hire him again for other work.

I consider myself a little more than a novice on general construction when it comes to studding and drywall. I am also a bit of a perfectionist. I needed support to help me studd my unfinished 1700 square foot basement in a new construction home. After calling over a dozen contractors who would either charge me ridiculous prices or tell me that they only do projects like this from start to finish, I met Jordan from JWC and he agreed to take on my project for a reasonable price. I was a little apprehensive at first because his was a young business. Folks, let me tell you. Jordan and his crew came in and absolutely KILLED IT! After three days of back breaking work I was left with a perfectly square and plum studded basement. Throughout the job, Jordan and his team were friendly and courteous to my family and I. More importantly they tackled the work with the focus and know how of a 20 year business. I was floored by their efficiency and ability to navigate the challenging areas like the knee wall I requested along the back wall. I could not be happier with the professionalism and work that Jordan with JWC provided. All of which was provided at a reasonable and honest price. Thanks again JWC Recommend 100 out of 100!!

They did phenomenal work in replacing my half fence and the price was fair. Would hire again for next project.

Worked with Jordon and he did or coordinated taking measurements, getting the custom-sized doors made, mortised, stained, and hung, and then tweaked so they all opened and closed properly. They look beautiful and work great.

So many issues...major issues! His worker fell through my ceilings three times. He used a large piece of my drywall to fix it without asking and then later tells me and said he would replace it and he did not. He plugged all the cold air returns with insulation. He laid the subfloor incorrectly...did not stagger. So, the boards he pulled up could not be used again ($50. Board) He said he forgot. I guess he forgot how to lay a subfloor even though he says he has laid a lot of them. You should see the amount of wasted plywood in my garage, it probably adds up to 5-4x8 sheets. Simply because he does not know how to lay a subfloor or he forgot idk. I let him know that the most important job were braces to support walls and wood floor because old subfloor had been cut away. One entire outside wall was not done upstairs. When I spoke to the city about a permit they told me I did not actually need one. The inspector only looked at the floor when he was there. Braces are not in code but when I spoke to him after Jordan was done he said he would have them put them in and so did a friend who is a retired contractor. He did not put them in in the upstairs bedroom because I was not up there. When I asked him about why he did not he said he did not think it needed it. I said many times the most important thing here are the braces and error on the side of putting in a brace. Sneaky because downstairs I was there and the braces went in along the same outside wall. Sneaky. He is forgetful. So many mistake. So much fixing going on. Ridiculous amount of time wasted on mistakes. Find someone that can do the job right the first time and does not forget how to do the job. I wish I could leave my phone number because then I could send you all the pictures I took. The only reason Jordan responded was because I did not have pictures. I told him I would be posting a negative review and he said he would respond to my review. I said okay but you'll look like a fool. Please save yourself many headaches and find someone else. I wish I would have chosen the other guy. Darn it. And, read his reviews...none of them are complicated projects. Oh, one last thing, he accused me of putting the third hole in the ceiling and that really did it for me. I told him he was out if line. I'm surprised he did not mention that accusation. Yeah, what boy.

Response from Company:

Job was done exactly how the homeowner wanted. Everything passed code and inspection. While the subfloor was removed a worker did slip and his foot went through the ceiling. We fixed the ceiling free of charge since it was our fault. Project was finished and subfloor and insulation were all done correctly.

JWC did high quality work. There were rotted soffits and old facia boards. These guys are talented pros. They identified problem wood and took care of it. It wasn't a simple job. They got here fast and worked hard every day until it was done. They also fixed an old porch (replaced bad wood and redid my screens). Inside the house they worked on some drywall that needed to be repaired. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough. Very enthusiastic, very talented work. I really appreciated having them here. It was a very positive experience.

Jordan and team are great! They stepped in on an existing project and were ready and willing to help with ANY task. Hardworking, fantastic attitudes, and wonderful communication. If anything needed further attention, did it without hesitation and seemed happy to do so. The business is on the younger side and I believe as they get additional experience and continue to grow they will be repeatedly hitting it out of the park. I would recommend and will hire again. I already have more projects in mind.

Response from Company:

Thanks so much Jen! Always a pleasure working with you!
