His work and that of his team is meticulous, efficient, and executed perfectly. When the job was completed, my yard was left in pristine condition. Everyone is telling me how beautiful the roof and gutters look. I couldn’t be any happier with this tremendous job!

Joel was my second opinion on a bad roof leak. He was honest, explained why it was leaking and showed me with pictures in an easy way I could understand and provided a very reasonable quote vs the first opinion that just quoted me $12k for a new roof and never told me why it was leaking. Very professional and respectful while on the property, kept me updated on the status as needed on the project, cleaned up after he was done. 10/10 I already have plans to hire him in the future. Greatly appreciate his knowledge and honesty!!

We've used this company regularly in Broome county NY, specifically Binghamton, Vestal, Endicott, & Johnson city, for investment properties we regularly purchase. Regularly they complete renovations, remodeling both inside and exterior work, a lot of roof replacements and siding replacements with vinyl siding, mainly multi layered roofs lately which they complete very propmtly. We haven't had any kind of incidents these past 8 years. The Owner, Joel is very detailed himself and makes every effort to make sure there are never any unforeseen obstacles that could potentially blindside our vision and budget. Workmanship is is always timely, estimates are always detailed and professional, I will continue using their services for years to come, and would expect many who use their services to do the same. I highly recommend J. Ventura Contracting.

Ventura to replace the roof on my house in endicott ny and they did a fantastic job.

Joel took 13k in deposit in November 2024 and never started any work, he is a thief. Anyone wanting to do work with him should be warned. He kept expanding the work scope and demanding more deposit but never started any work. No flooring ,no paint nothing, instead sending sophisticated emails alerting me of changing his business polices all while not starting any work.. That was over 1 year ago. Then he sent texts saying he is ready to start, when i responded, he ghosted me and did not reply at all for weeks, leaving me hanging again, while the mold issue grew in my house, sitting vacant. Then he started to blame me for him not starting, this guy is a thief and I will say criminal. He should never be allowed do collect large amounts of deposit it's theft, and not do ANY WORK!, he has caused me financial difficulties, interest rates on credit cards, the house could not be rented cause no flooring, paint or anything was done. He should be in jail.

J. Ventura LLC was awesome! He was polite, honest, responsive, knowledgeable and skilled. His quote was very reasonable. We will be hiring him again in the future for upcoming projects for sure.

I can report that Joel refunded my downpayment, and I appreciate that It looks like Joel had some business difficulties and I wish him the best in getting his company back on track.

Only selected "Wood or Fiber..." because I couldn't select Bathroom Renovation. Joel had previously done 2 roofs for us...fair price, great communication, professional work. Due to the positive experience, we contracted with him for a bathroom renovation. Totally different experience this time. Lack of communication, subpar workmanship, project mismanagement. After 9 weeks we finally told him we wanted to terminate the project. Our deposits amounted to more than the work that was done. Tried to work out a refund of our money with Joel, couldn't agree on an amount. Decided we would accept his number just to be done with the situation, haven't heard from him since. Got a lawyer involved, Joel said he would respond within 14 days, but we haven't heard from him. The photos show how the worksite was very messy. We will be taking him to small claims court.
