Write a ReviewThey do not honor their work ,ihad my roof replaced less than 2 years ago ,during the heavy rains ,my skylight leaked, called twice and stil waiting for a call to fix it, dont recommend stronghouse ,maybe thats why its no longer called irish roofing Very disgusted
Did a great job replacing our garage roof, cleaned up well, no complaints.
Horrible Experience ? Do Not Use This Company I hired this company for roof repairs, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I paid over $8,000 for work that was never fully completed, and I?ve been dealing with unprofessional behavior every step of the way. The day after they said the roof was going to be done, I sent them a text, asking if the roof was fully finished. Instead of giving a straightforward answer, I received a response saying, ?It?s only 2:00????? ? a completely dismissive reply with no real update on the work. From that point on, I had to harass them repeatedly via calls and emails just to get pictures of the roof and gutter guards. The house is two stories, so I couldn?t see most of the roof from the ground, and I certainly couldn?t see the gutter guards. I needed them to show proof of completion, but they refused to send me any proper documentation or images. But they certainly didn?t stop sending me invoices and badgering me for payment!
The project came in at $800 more than the estimate and I was not informed of the additional cost until the work was done. I had to ask the workers not to smoke near the doors and windows of my house. They needed a power outlet and I do not have an outdoor outlet, so I let them use one of my extension cords that I plugged into my mud room. I left the door slightly open because of the cord. They came into the house and unplugged my freezer and plugged in another extension cord. The only reason I noticed was that they left the cord plugged in. And the freezer was left unplugged. Nothing was mentioned to me at all. The next day I put the extension cord through the window so they could not access the inside of my house. Then as I was taking my recycling out, I found 2 pizza boxes with pizza slices in the recycling bin. The trash bin was right next to the recycling bin. I?m hoping the work was done well but I doubt that I would ever hire them again.
Avery quoted the job and was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. He communicated very well with me while I was in the decision phase. He showed up the morning of the project and was available for questions I had during and after. The crew was punctual and very professional. It was after dark when they finished. They attempted to do a good job cleaning up, but of course they missed some stuff in the gutters because it was dark. When I reached out, they were able to come back in a couple of days. Two crew members spent quite a bit of time making sure everything was cleaned up thoroughly. I am writing this review because I want you to be convinced that it is a good choice to go with Irish Roofing and Exteriors.
Awesome job
Very professional
We had such a remarkable experience with this company. We had employee Cooper that helped with insurance and was so very professional and kept us up to date at all times. Cooper worked with our insurance as we are well into our 60s and do not know much about roofs. He was thorough and cannot say enough good things about our experience. All the staff is wonderful right down to scheduling team. Thank You Sandra from Pinckney
Irish replaced vinyl siding, soffit, fascia and rain gutters on my home, including installation of hand-laid stone veneer on two exterior walls. They also replaced roofs for two sheds. Workmanship was excellent, price was very compeititive, communication was good. The project was completed on time and on budget, with very little correction/re-work involved. Very friendly and professional. The result was an astounding transformation of the home. I highly recommend this company!
While the cheif operation officer is trying very hard to make things right that went wrong during our roof project our experience has been different than others here that have posted reviews. Irish was more reasonable than the two roofing quotes Victor's and hansons who quoted double nearly triple the price of irish contacting price. The crews do great work in terms of quality of end product. Yet how the job was handled and the use of contracted crew which you have to watch and make sure they aren't using any of your tools while on your property. Make sure the crew covers all windows, tarps well, cleans up after them selves and cleans all nails up with magnet In all areas. Make sure the crew throws roofing debris far enough off the roof away to prevent hitting your house damaging siding and brand new windows and exterior windows trim. I would also recommend you make sure the crew covers the exposed roof deck if it will rain or if exposed period and not covered with synthetic underlayment that they tarp the roof deck or replace wood exposed. I would also make sure a irish rep is checking I. With you the customer each time they come on-site to make sure your satisfied with all work. None of this happened and we had water damage from exposed non tarped roof. 2 hours two respond to cover my roof with a tarp in heavy rain and was personally up in the attic for 4 to 6 hours trying to stop a leak. While irish is making it right it's taking many weeks to correct everything. While they are at a good price and decent quality I would caution to be up front using them. Make sure they follow through and take proper action on your roofing project to advoid our experience. All could have been avoided with proper tarp covering, protecting the windows with osb or a canopy protection and checking I. With you the customer at job start, during the job and at the end to make sure the job is done to your satisfaction and that the crew respects your property when they are onnit for the job.
