Waterproof Inspection / Certification Service

Brock came out for an inspection of my leaky basement and gave me the most thorough and honest report I?ve ever seen for this kind of work. I?ve had a few other projects completed in my house (roof repair, central air installation), and Groundwork?s is the first company where I don?t feel like I need to get multiple opinions. I trust them wholeheartedly and can?t wait to have a water-free basement thanks to them!

Level Concrete Slabs Using Injection Technology

Grant and Mark came out and raised my front steps by about 4” in back and 2” in front and then raised the areas around it so that there was a smooth transition once again. The area looks incredible and they had some clever ways to make their footprint invisible to the passerby. I’m more than happy with the outcome! Thanks guys!!!

Terrible just terrible don’t ever use this company, I hired Innovative to help level my concrete they did a horrible job. Now my driveway has more and even bigger cracks, also I was over charged by the representative who gave me the quote, I specifically asked him that I did not want any cracks filled that I would do it that myself but he ended up charging me for a portion without my knowledge, I found out after it was filled with caulk. I tried calling them about it a few times since I have a 5 year warranty but know one has bothered to pickup my call or respond back. They will easily over charge you to get an extra few 1000 from your pockets. DON’T EVER USE THIS COMPANY they don’t care about you nor bother to even know your name, not once did the representative bother to ask or know my name even though I took the time to know his I was known as “Hey” the entire interaction. Stay away from this company use any other.

Jared arrived for his appointment and was extremely complete with informing us everything that needed to be done. He answered every question and was extremely thorough. Josh and his crew came in 3 weeks later and absolutely rocked this job. Extremely professional. Took special care to make sure all of our personal belongings were covered and not damaged at all. We are ecstatic at how quick they completed this job and how great everything looks. Wish I could rate more than 5 stars, because these guys are worth 10 stars. Highly recommend

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
