I have found at least at the beginning of this process in purchasing a generator that it has been relatively smooth and the staff has been really helpful and pleasant to work with. So far it has been a pleasant experience and I look forward to continuing this journey with Hurricane Home Solutions.

From beginning to end, this process has been seamless. Hurricane Home Solutions isn’t just a sales outfit, but also services the products they sell, as well as installs them. Dean was our sales representative and provided a fair quote and provided several options for home standby generators and the reasons for his recommendations. When I had a propane contractor selected, I called the office and they coordinated the installation date for me. That way the propane contractor and the installation team would be available on the same day. And I also know when I need service, the company that sold it and installed it will be the servicing technicians as well.

Was not at home for the installation due to business. My wife ws very impressed.

Nat and Sam were really good to me!! Nat especially kept me informed every step of the way with everything they were doing while installing my generator. If I had any questions they had no problem telling me what was happening and why they were doing that. I would recommend Hurricane Home Solutions to all my friends. Apologies to Dean for forgetting to start with him who was the first person I met with regarding the generators and he also was excellent in explaining the difference with the generators I was checking out. By the time we were through talking I knew which generator I wanted and what the expensive was going to be and my decision was made. Good day! After quite a bit of research, several site visits, and quotes from multiple companies, we had Hurricane Home Solutions install a Champion 8.5 kw automatic standby generator to provide fully automatic emergency power to 10 essential circuits in our home. After extensive renovation of our home this past summer and many years of experience with a manual transfer/portable 3.5 kw propane generator we knew an "essential circuits" solution for our home was both what we wanted and what would fit into our budget. All but one of the companies who came to the house to quote a system refused to quote any system under 14 kw which would be a whole-house solution here and was double what we had in our budget to spend. Jordan, from Hurricane Home Solutions, listened carefully to our needs and agreed the smallest Champion generator would be entirely adequate and his quote was within our budget. This past week the installation team from Hurricane Home Solutions came out, Todd, Eric, and Mike, and installed the generator and transfer switch in about 5 hours start-to-finish. They were polite, personable, and professional. They placed drop clothes where necessary inside. Outside they were careful around our landscaping and gardens. Todd, "the inside man," took time to go over which circuits would be connected to the transfer switch and confirm they were accurately labeled. Eric, "the outside man," made sure the generator was located according to code and where it would be as inconspicuous as possible yet easy to service. Mike helped both as needed. All were excellent and once the install was completed, Todd took time to demonstrate the system, answer any questions I had, and ensure I understood what regular maintenance was needed. Just this morning I walked through everything they had done and tested the system myself to assure myself I knew what would happen when and how the system would behave. We will have to see how things hold up, but this Champion generator was highly rated by the most trusted consumer-rating organization and is covered by Champion with a 10-year warranty. At this point, I could not be happier. Thank you!

Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt and the quality of their work was top notch. From the initial contact through final installation, the entire process went smoothly.

I had a Cummins Whole House generator installed about 5 months ago. About 4 months ago, it was discovered that one of the factory installed fuel hoses was kinked and restricting fuel to the engine so it did not stay running. The tech did come out within a few days of me calling and found the problem, but so far, after about 4 1/2 months, Hurricane Home Solutions still has not provided the replacement Hose and a technician to install it. I cannot really say good things about the service after the sale.
