Reviews
Write a ReviewThe total cost for replacing a bathroom ceiling fan/light was $1,050. There was no quote provided prior and when I researched the part after it was around $150. The tech spent 2 hours installing. When I reached out to the company they did not want to budge at first. Then they offered $100 credit, but I refused. At most this should have cost $700. $150 for the part + $50 markup and 2 hours at their excessive labor rate of $250 per hour.
Mike came to fix a foyer chandelier that wasn't working. It is a three-way switch and Mike fixed issues with multiple aspects of the light and switches. The light is now back on, while I'm feeling safer and more confident in all of the switches. Will definitely use Mike again-- super responsive, clearly very competent, and a great guy!
Hurley Electric replaced a 200 amp electrical panel: Cost $2550. Updated grounding system installed a ground rod: Cost $550. Relocate meter base: Cost $250. Discount $250. Total cost for the job: $3100. These charges are far above for the average for these services. I would urge others to get quotes from several REPUTABLE contractors before selecting the contractor.

Hurley Electric was here earlier than expected and they did a great job with our electric panel. I am going to use them for all my electrical needs.
Everything as promised, came in did the job quickly and was gone, no issues, no mess. Great service!
Great work and very professional. I will definitely call Mike for any future electrical work.
On time, fixed my problem. Thatâ s what you want from a contractor.
Friendly good work
Extremely flexible with scheduling and knowledgeable with the work I wanted. Quick and efficient, as well as friendly. If I need any more work done, Mike will be who i call.
Thank you! It was a pleasure working with you. Good luck with the remodel!
I have never written a negative review so this is my first. Needed a generator repaired for winter. Not an emergency. Mr Hurley called me and said he could do the required service. Picked up generator at 5 and returned the next day. Never called with an estimate of what it would cost. Never received an invoice after 2 weeks. Finally received via email. To my surprise the cost was $400! No parts required. The generator was 6 years old and originally cost $500. When I questioned the cost. He said what I paid for it was irrelevant.
