Houston Pro Appliance Review DO NOT USE THIS GUY! It is a long review, but please read and FIND SOMEONE ELSE. He only gets 1 star because he fixed our problem; everything else about the experience deserves no stars. Like others have said, his professionalism is severely deficient and he is a 100% sexist. Initially, he called and spoke to my husband about the availability to reinstall our downdraft vent. They agreed on a set time of 3 pm. Around that time we were doing work in the garage, so it was up. Not only did he show up without the warning call, but he also parked immediately in front of my car, blocking me in AND he walked into our house unannounced. I only know his name because I read other reviews. It was by far the worst thing I have ever experienced. As a woman, I felt violated and my husband was ready to assault him. Second problem he started working on the problem without giving us an estimate even through we asked quite a few times. Third problem. Every time I asked him a question, he was rude AF to me and had an attitude. The only reason why he would answer my questions was because my husband checked him quite a few times. Fourth and fifth problems as he worked on the job, he was walking through our house looking for stuff to complete the job. Why do not you have everything you need? Why do you think you can rummage through my house without speaking to me or my husband? Lastly, I think we overpaid. We did not give him what he asked for because we never discussed price. We literally paid to get him out our house and never see him again. Last problem, he tried to pick up another job by offering to help my husband with our other non-appliance related project. Super bad and made everyone in the house uncomfortable. Oh! And he did not clean up his mess that he created in our sink (without asking permission to use the sink). He even did us the honor of adding his trash to our cardboard box pile.

I am very confused with this review. Despite the fact that I solved the issue with the downdraft and after the completion she thanks me and extend her hand to shake mine I cannot believe that she may leave this review. Ms., why you did not mention that I found a solution to solve the problem which you even did not think about in the end, I gave, advice on how to prevent this from happening again, which you asked me for. I am very surprised.

Refrigerator had major ice build up and was not cooling properly. Good communication by the Pro from first contact. Arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and then left to get the needed parts. His price for the parts was better than online sellers and he fixed the problem in a timely manner. Overall, with parts and labor it was almost $500.00, but a new fridge would have been almost $3000.00. Cleaned up before leaving. Would recommend and use again.

I hired Elshan with Houston Pro Appliance Repair to repair my fridge which was making loud noise. He charged me $260. After he left, I turned on the fridge, I still had the same issue. I called him and texted him. He never replied. I asked either to come back and repair the fridge or refund me $210, considering his gas and trip, to hire someone else to do the job. He never replied. He ignored me.

I hired this gentleman to install an oven igniter in my stove. He arrived 30 minutes early. He backed his car into my driveway, rather than parking on the street. He then stood directly in front of my door as he waited for me to open the door. He removed his shoes as I requested. When he started to work on the stove, he asked me for something to wipe his hands. Before I could respond, he reached for my paper towel and began pulling sheets from the roll without asking me first, leaving fingerprints on the remaining sheets of paper towel. I then gave him some towel wipes to wipe his hands instead, so that he would not use the entire roll of paper towel. He then went back to the stove. He picked up the oven igniter, frowning down at it, and then looked at me in a mean way. Glaring at me, he demanded to know where I purchased the oven igniter, and asked me twice how much I paid for it. When I asked if he had a reason for asking me this question, he snapped "Yes", and then indicated, in a very annoying way, looking at my stove, that there were different prices for different parts. I already knew this, since I purchased the part that he was installing. In terms of the work itself, he did an excellent job, apart from his rude and disrespectful behavior. In addition to installing the oven igniter, which only took a few minutes, he cleaned the floor area where the stove had been sitting, and he also fixed the door on the stove, as I requested. He also asked me to test the stove to make sure the issue was resolved. I would still recommend his business due to the quality of the work he performed. But unfortunately, due to the other issues, I can only give three stars instead of five for customer service. Were it not for the issues noted previously, I would have easily given him five stars for customer service, as well as the quality of the work, his efficiency, and the fair price that he quoted. This has been a fair and honest review. Hopefully, any future customers will receive the benefit of his excellent work performance, and not the other issues that were noted above.
