Glen Apfelbaum was incredibly responsive and worked very hard to earn my trust as I was monitoring the job from out of town. He tailored the job to my needs and left the job site clean and mold free.

I had an excellent experience with Home Healthy Homes start to finish. Glen himself was a big part of the start of our relationship. He took the time to educate us, patiently answered questions, made sure to understand our situation, and made honest recommendations on what he felt would be best for my family and my home. That care and consideration carried forward throughout our time working together; his whole crew was polite, professional, respectful of our home, and plainly worked at a high level of competency and quality. I could not be more satisfied and I will sing their praises to anybody who will listen.

Owner Glen is wonderful and answered every question I had. He made sure I was completely comfortable with the plan before work began. His foreman Jamie and his crew are top notch. Wonderful!

I hired Glenn and his company, Home Healthy Homes, in June of 2021 after a sales call with Paul. I'd been having issues with a basement flooding in a rental home I own. I was considering just filling in the basement when I met with Paul. Paul convinced me that his system would fix the water issues for me, and that I didn't have to lose the space. He told me that the trick was to big a trench around the perimeter of the basement down to the footing of the house and install a system of drains and pumps. He also told me that I had mold and he would remediate it for me once the water problem was under control. I trusted his expertise and moved forward with his proposal. Within a few months my basement was completely flooded again. My tenant's personal property was destroyed and is now leaving over the matter. A structural engineer has advised me that there is very likely damage to the foundation of my house. The system Home Healthy Homes specified was inappropriate and should have never been installed to begin with. When I contacted Home Healthy Homes about the issue they were responsive at first. I spoke to Steve, who handles scheduling. He sent by their service tech, Dan. When he saw the status of my basement he was in shock and said there was nothing he could do. He agreed to have the owner contact me to discuss a refund. Glenn came by a few days later and also appeared to be in shock when he saw my basement. He told me that he would need to consult an expert to try and find a solution. When I told him that I didn't think there was a solution and the basement should have been filled in from the beginning he agreed with me. He then said he would get back to me about a refund. I haven't heard from him since. I hope that in sharing my experience I will help someone else avoid this pitfall of a company. In my opinion, Glenn sells a one-size-fits-all solution and does not have the proper waterproofing knowledge someone who calls themselves an expert should have. When things go wrong he simply disappears and hides his head in the sand. BUYER BEWARE!

These people treated me (a woman) with respect and did not talk down to me. They explained everything in detail. The work was done with as little disruption as possible, on time, on budget. There were no surprises, and no up-front deposit required. Now we have to wait for the next heavy rain to see if it keeps the basement dry! Diane Marley
