I rate hardscrabble as excellent. I had three projects: 1) dripping inside the toilet tank; 2) outside water faucet leaking; 3) main drain and vent pipe leaking. The work was completed between 3 and 4 hours. The toilet is silent, the outside faucet no longer leaks and a portion of the cast iron drain pipe was replaced with PVC: the crawl space is dry now without any sign of leakage. We have used the kitchen sink and have washed clothes, and we have found no leakage anywhere. This is the house of my mother, so I am not certain when, if ever, the main drain pipe had been cleaned. Hardscrabble also cleaned the main pipe because of debris in the pipe. It was said that this blockage was the main problem for the leakage in the crawl space. This blockage was not evident to them when they first estimated the cost of the work. That seemed reasonable to me and agreed to pay the additional cost. The estimate was $400, the ending cost was $600.

I will have them back to do other work for us. Very professional!

The company fixed my disposer and gave us suggestions on how to prevent future problems. They were very prompt and professional and I thought the fee was very reasonable for our area.

The guys were very nice and conscientious.

The gentleman that came into do the repairs were excellent, they were knowledgeable in what needed to be done to make the repair and did not try to add on to the job requested. They were courteous to clients and worked quietly as possible as to not disturb the normal routine of the facility. Any future plumbing issues we experience will be referred to Hardscrabble.
