I canâ t say enough good things about Robb Dickerson and Half Moon Custom Homes. I retired down to the Savannah area in order to build an observatory and seriously pursue my life-long hobby of astronomy. Robb has enabled my dream to come true. I found Robb through his website. Flat roof garages are not common, but Robb showcased one he had already built on his website. I also liked his passion about doing right for his clients. From our first conversation, Robbâ s obvious intelligence and knowledge came through loud and clear. Not surprisingly, Robb had never built an observatory before, but he instantly grasped some of the most important considerations â e.g., the need for a reinforced and level roof observation deck to support heavy equipment and guests, the need for dark sky compliant lighting and the need to secure access to the roof deck. I found Robb to be very organized and an excellent communicator. He always kept me updated on the status of the project and answered every question I had. And one of the measures of a general contractor is the quality of the subcontractors he uses. All of Robbâ s subcontractors were excellent â true craftsmen in their field. And although he was under no obligation to do so, Robb even helped me get the dome assembled. I am thrilled with the quality of the finished building and unhesitantly give Robb my highest recommendation.

We requested several quotes for the addition to our home, but Robb was the most professional contractor that I dealt with. He listened to what my vision was, made recommendations on how to make what I wanted even better while not hiking the price. He was very patient with us when we made changes before the project started. His entire team was trustworthy, on time and kept us informed every step of the way. I would recommend him to anyone have a big or small project. Best investment we've added to the house and the perfect company to do it.

I met with five other contractors to obtain estimates to build a 2 car garage.I instantly liked Rob and his professionalism.He listened to what I wanted,took notes and measured. We chose you because you were hands down the nicest, most down-to-earth person we interviewed. You made us feel like part of the process (and let us change the design a million times) every step of the way. You were available to answer questions, give advice, and calm our nerves as needed. When something wasn't perfect, you kept working until it was either perfect or as close to perfect as it could get. You also clearly know your stuff when it comes to working with city officials, which was comforting. There were a couple of charges that were a surprise to you (e.g., engineering plans, windows, garage doors), but we felt like you were very sweet in helping us cut costs where you could (e.g., getting us directly in touch with your deck people instead of taking a commission, putting in the driveway at cost). I have to say - this garage is GORGEOUS. We LOVE it. If we had to do it again, we would hands down choose you. You do good work man. We LOVE this garage and loved working with you.
