Reviews
Write a ReviewI had Fullerton Works out recently to finish out my garage and small living space. Blake was out the same day to look at the project. The quote process was upfront and clear. He gave great ideas and followed through at every step. Very happy with the work and finished results!
We had kitchen remodel done by Blake and his team. They were fantastic. We are more than pleased with our new kitchen. Blake was great to work with, always very responsive to us during and after the project.
Blake and the team at Fullerton Works were excellent! They took the time to really understand our needs with a new home purchase and last-minute renovation needed, helping us troubleshoot a few tricky situations along the way. Their communication throughout the process was fantastic, and they worked closely with us to balance our budget with the work needed. The whole experience was smooth, transparent, and collaborative and we are happy with the results! I’d highly recommend Fullerton Works to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, and skilled team.
As a colleague I never pass up an opportunity to recommend or work with Fullerton Works. Blake & the team are dedicated to a quality of work that customer service that make them great to work with!
If we could post 0 stars we would. A few of the issues we encountered with Fullerton Works: -They nearly compromised our homes concrete foundation by having zero control over their concrete sawing subcontractor. -They demolished several thousand dollars worth of materials that were supposed to be salvaged for re-use- Even after I had a face to face conversation with their “Project Manager”- who happened to reek of weed that day. -Their plumbing sub initially installed floor drain plumbing in the completely wrong locations and had to reinstall. Even after that, our linear drains were installed crooked within concrete even through they were within a couple inches of the wall they needed to run parallel to. -They had no control and failed to effectively coordinate or manage their subcontractors. They would switch subcontractors performing the same work type with dubious vetting. -After Fullerton Works proposed and I agreed to the correct concrete mix for the top pour of our sandwich slab with in-floor heat, the delivered concrete was the incorrect mix and I had to reject it. -Even after discussing correct form placement, Fullerton Works still managed to incorrectly set concrete forms within a shower stall with zero slope to the drain. This required very risky saw cutting and grinding of concrete poured with ~ an inch of cover over hydronic in-floor heat tubing. -We would typically see Fullerton Works once a week with a crew of 1 or 2 people and a pickup. They would typically be on site for 1-2 hours and then leave because they were missing the necessary tools to perform the work. -We cut ties when Fullerton Works asked for another draw even though they were at least $20k behind what they said they could deliver in their proposal. -I could go on and on. Needless to say we cut ties with Fullerton Works before our project was done, and a fair amount of their work had to be redone by another contractor. Fullerton Works’ having clients pay for large portions of the work upfront leaves their clients in a bind when things do not go well. Their large upfront payments allow them to buy nice trucks, have a professional website, and for their owner Blake Fullerton to fly first class- I just ran into Blake on a recent flight to Denver. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE SHINY EXTERIOR!!! Other than writing this review, our means of recourse are limited. The amount Fullerton Works owes us exceeds small claims court amounts, and attorney’s fees would easily far exceed what we are owed if we went to district court. Fullerton Works is the most incompetent contractor I’ve ever worked with- and I’ve worked with A LOT of Contractors in over 20 years as a Construction Project Engineer. BEWARE, Fullerton Works DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK AND WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY! Do not make the same mistake we did and look elsewhere for your project.

Thank you for reaching out, Tammy. We investigated our previous records and found your job from February 2024. In reference to scrapping thousands of dollars? worth of material. From what we remember, there was one door left behind after you had terminated production. Whether the door was worth thousands of dollars. We are unfortunately unable to obtain the pricing info due to the time that has passed since your job in 2024. In reference to your comments about the plumbing. Fullerton Works, LLC does stand behind our work in luxury remodeling and additions. But understand, to stand behind our work we need to be given the opportunity to fix any mistakes or work that is not done to client's standards. That opportunity, unfortunately, was not given to Fullerton Works. In reference to your comment of ?having clients pay for large portions of the work upfront?. We ask for deposits for every job that is a percentage of the agreed proposal amount upfront as I?m sure you know from working with contractors for over 20 years. Deposits are an industry standard to hire sub contractors. In reference to your comment of Fullerton Works, LLC ?DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK AND WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY!?. You informed us that we are not to perform any more reworks or further work on your project even at the cost of the contractor after you halted production through winter. We are surprised to see this comment as the email stated that you were willing to put another deposit down to continue work in the spring. As stated, Fullerton Works, LLC stands behind our remodels and additions, but we need to be given the chance to do so. The following spring we sent a financial breakdown showing work completed and the amount of work paid for per request. Following said email, you had made a decision to halt production further, which was a surprise considering the positive communication that was had prior. Fullerton Works, LLC runs on clear communication, proper design, and meticulous planning. We specialize in managing and completing luxury remodels and additions throughout Southwest Colorado and Boerne, Texas. We apologize that Fullerton Works, LLC did not match your style of business. We are glad to hear you were able to find a contractor that fits you to finish your project. Even if it's in passing at the airport when we fly to our second location in Texas as it was this past weekend. We wish you nothing but smiles and the best, have a great holiday season!
The work that was done well, was excellent-interior woodworking and flooring, windows and most doors. However, Blake Fullerton was almost never on site, there was a long succession of subs that never communicated with each other. The project should have taken 6-8 months; And I realize it was during Covid.. but It has now been 3 years and 5 months. Blake Fullerton refuses to communicate and has not honored his promise to take care of the very long punch list. (I have emails) The work that was done poorly, was atrocious - plumbing in all three bathrooms, , tile floors in the basement, missing hardware,. Much of which I found in the garage, after we ordered replacements. The HVAC system worked fine before the renovation, afterward, the returns on the top floor ( relocated ) and main levels (new) were installed, however, they did not connect to the HVAC return on the unit itselfâ ¦ A very large return was installed in the basement, and is the only return that works. Now it is necessary to have the basement door open at all times.. The sub that did the work was confused about the un-connected returns, and couldnâ t remember what he had doneâ ¦ The stone work down stairs was removed to make way for new windows and doors . Some was replaced by an apparently drunk worker (I found an empty 12 pack of Modelo in the trash bin) who did such a bad job that Blake Fullerton fired him after seeing the work and promised to have it done again properly. That never happened.. The takeaway is be very cautious with this contractor, stay onsite during your entire project, watch the subs like a hawk. And most of all, lower your expectations. Good luck.
They were very attentive to my needs and request and achieved all my expectations. They were always positive and pleasant and addressed all my requests. They did a complete kitchen, bathrooms and flooring remodel. Results were spectacular.
I hired Blake during Covid. I could not be there but a neighbor let them in to work each day. The neighbor was amazed that they showed up each day at the time they said they would. Thatâ s not normal for around here. I would recommend Blake. He was trustworthy and did what he said.
I love Blake he is wonderful! He did such a beautiful job on my house. He is personable, helpful, kind, plus he tells you what he will do and does it! I recommend Blake as highly as possible!
