I have never performed work for this person. I submitted a repair estimate to correct their air locked boiler. The next day before any work was performed, their 30 year old boiler began to leak. They were instantly rude, and insulting on the phone and in person. Making wild uneducated accusations and personal insults towards me. They tried to extort me into paying for their new boiler. They made false claims about what I did to another company to make it look like I "cracked" their boiler. This company then un knowingly, through me under the bus due to her false accusations. I personally talked to this company and they informed me off her intentions. Very quickly the other company and I cleared the air and this customers intentions were clear. They gave her a overpriced replacement estimate for $16,000.00!!!!! A fair price for that job is $8,000.00 - $9,000.00. I would have welcomely performed the job for them, but due their incredibly insulting manner and attempts of extortion, I declined the job and set them up with another local company that performed the job for $8,500.00 I have been in this field full time for 14 years, and grew up working in the industry. I am a young business owner and this fowl person thought they saw a weak opponent and tried to take advantage of me and I did not cave. They couldn't handle the burden of being a homeowner and the requirement of replacing their 30 year old boiler that already had signs of vast corrosion, and water leaks.
