I would give ZERO Stars for this roofing company1 They would not repair a leak we had in the office area of our house. We decided to do the roof replacement because our house is 24 years old. First red flag was that the foreman did not speak the same language as his crew He sat in his truck the whole time. I asked the foreman if they were paying attention to the area where the leak was. He assured me they were. My husband also asked the same question in a separate conversation. Again, assured they were paying special attention. We had the Rhino Roof installed which is supposed the be leak resistant and all the warrantees, etc. Fast forward to less than one year after total roof replacement to the tune of $23,000.00 we had a WORSE leak than we had before the roof was replaced. They showed randomly and "repaired" the defective shingles" There is interior damage. They won't do anything and are blaming "low gutters" (they are not). Save yourself the headache and get someone else

This home had a leak when the homeowner purchased it in 2023. Previous repairs were made by another roofing company, to attempt to stop the leak. An inspection of the roof showed the 25 year old shingles at the end of their life span and given the leak issue, a recommendation was made to replace the roof and move a gutter system. The gutter is laying on the roof, in a valley, in the problem area. A new roof was installed but the gutter system was not moved. Over the winter, the gutter system prevented the normal flow of water down the valley and refreezing caused an ice damn. The ice damn damaged the new roof. The homeowner experienced a leak in the same place as before. We replaced the shingles in that area again. The problem is not the roof but the placement of a gutter system, that needs to be moved. Once this is moved, we will come back again and replace the shingles that were underneathe the gutter system.

I could not be happier with Five Star Roofing. From the start, they were extremely pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The price was very competitive. The planning process went very smoothly, and the final outcome was excellent. Many companies drop the ball after the job, but not 5-Star. During the install there was a judgement call made by the on-site team that we needed to change. I contacted the company and they immediately agreed to fix the error at no additional charge.
