I am very upset that in very good faith I paid the amount to install my flooring, upon completion we discovered a soft spot, Empire Today came back out, tore my floor and laid down leveling cement, they didn't return to finish. They said sometimes this takes 60 days, they are very unprofessional to me, the customer, that paid $10 000 to get a job done.

High pressure sales personnel!! The sales personnel were not sincere and I feel I was lied to. Maybe commissions are part of their motivations. I was offered an ESP package (extra service plan) which is 10% more of the total cost - $600.00. I am doubtful that I would have received a good follow up and declined the package. My thought is the sales reps do not communicate well with the techs and other departments within their business working in the field. Ultimately, I feel I was charged too much. The window of timeframe for the sales person was 11 - 1 pm. I called before the set time I tried to reschedule my appointment, I talked with the office staff and was told all the sales reps were out but not to worry no one would show up, but as you have it the sales rep shows up. So just an example of how the left hand does not talk to the right hand. The end result, my new floor is acceptable. I was happy with the new floor but as the saying goes time will tell. I am wondering what my floor will look like in a few months. I am concerned if I will receive no hassle warranty service or if it will be thrown back to me that I declined the ESP package. I was able to see first hand how difficult and challenging it was for the techs to remove the old adhesive so I questioned their warranty process and methods of flooring install and removal, they were proficient and got it done, I just expected maybe a faster process. Ultimately satisfied but unsatisfied with the process.

Do not and I repeat do not use Empire today for your carpet installation! An old slick salesman comes out last Monday and sells us carpet for our bedroom. He looks at my safe and assures me the installation folks can move the gun safe with no problems. Then today, an old Hispanic guy and his wife come to do the installation and proceed to inform us they can't move the safe. For the last two days, my wife has been emptying our bedroom and our house is in disarray. I just told them to cancel our contract for deceptive trade practices.

Be careful as this company charges for work not done. The quality is low and crappy. I was charge for extra flooring that they took back and did not give me a credit for. The sales person lied to me and only had one flooring option. They sell you a warranty that is worthless! Go some where else!!
