They built a custom shed for us and we love it! Our property is on a hill so it was hard to find a good spot for a shed but Rob found the perfect spot and built a beautiful shed with shelves and tons of storage space. It was completed on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Douglas Design & Construction!

Rob and his team were very responsive, completed the job on budget, and handled change orders without any trouble. There were one or two issues that we worked through that might have been avoided with greater planning, but we are satisfied with the bathroom renovation and will call on Rob again for future projects.

Douglas Design and Construction is a homeowners dream! Professional, skilled, reliable, communicative, trustworthy - an absolute pleasure to work with all the way around. Rob and his team have done many projects in our home ranging from repairing rotted windows to installing doors to repairing a shower hammer to wiring / installing new ceiling fans. Without question many cuts above the rest. You wonâ t find a more competent, fair and consistent company than Douglas Design and Construction; Rob is our only call for any and all of our home projects.

Rob was professional in the beginning and stuck to our contract dates. Several months after the deck was completed I noticed a board was not secured down and that some of them were splitting. I contacted Rob several times left voice messages, sent text messages, and finally replied after about two months with a voice mail (which I still have) saying he would come by to secure the board and look at the splitting boards. He never came, I gave up after many, many phone calls. It is now two years, and I would say at least 30% of the deck is splitting. It could not have been done correctly and I paid top dollar for this. Terrible customer service and that is why I cannot recommend Rob Douglas.

He wanted to get in and out and collect our money. He didn't complete the work correctly. He caused a lot of problems we've had to fix. He kept asking for money without completing the work and everything he has done has to be torn out and redone correctly which is charging us double the cost. also lied to us and said he didn't need a permit to complete the work. he was supposed to get a permit if you hire him make sure you check everything he is doing and make sure he is doing it right. do not let him do the plumbing or electrical work or you will have to have it done over the right way.

These homeowners signed a contract that spelled out the payment schedule. I followed that schedule and had the job completed up until the last payment. The homeowners had no complaints about the quality or the progress of the job up until this point. When the job was 90% done and they still owed me about $3000.00 they put the job on hold because their daughter was in the hospital and eventually died. I was at their house on 7/13/18 when their daughter went into the hospital, this is the first communication I've had with them in a month. I tried to call them to work it out because this review came as a shock to me but they refused to work with me.
