While very communicative in the beginning, almost impossible to get in touch with now. First, an inverter was replaced, the job was done and finished a little late in the afternoon/evening, but, it was not verified that all things were working correctly. Then, they came out to investigate and repair a ground fault. The fault was repaired, but, they were in a rush to get somewhere, and, again, did not verify that everything was working properly. To end a long story, I had another company come out and within 30 minutes, my system was back up and running properly. The owner seemed polite enough and appeared to have good intentions but I went an additional 6 months before my system was working right. Losing money in the process. And honestly, I would not recommend them if you did not have them install your panels.

Excellent response time and communication before, during and at the conclusion of the job.

Paul was excellent to work with.I called Paul to have a bad panel repaired.He removed it and replaced it with another while I was on vacation.Paul is a very kind person he listen to you when explaining your problem.I had a problem with my inverter a few weeks later I called Paul he took care of problem right away . I will call Paul anytime I have a problem

I can't begin to express my gratitude to Paul Zimmer and Detail Solar. I had a disaster created by a windstorm which caused my solar inverter to detach from the house and flip upside down. The conduit, cutoff boxes and wiring were all hanging precariously. Each day that went by caused more stress as all that heavy equipment pulled further and further away from the house. I called the company that installed the solar, only 18 months ago, only to find out that they had gone out of business and disappeared. Also, no one close to my address was interested in servicing my need. Fortunately, one day I happened to look on Angie's List and found a company with a Greenville address that did solar repair. I didn't even complete the application because I didn't think that someone from Greenville would come all the way to Myrtle Beach to fix my problem. To my surprise, Paul called me the same day and SHOWED UP THE VERY NEXT DAY to start the process of removing all the damaged equipment and wiring from the house. He made the house safe from any further damage and hauled off the debris to the local dump. Two weeks later, he and his crew showed up to totally upgrade my system, fix the siding and get my panels producing power again. I have since referred him to others that have solar problems and will continue to support him and his team any way I can. The bottom line is I didn't know that honest, thorough and quality people like him were still around. Do yourself a favor and hire Detail Solar for anything solar and you will absolutely be amazed.

Paul is very responsive to my calls. Very quick to respond to everything.

While the issue was repaired and completed, the communication left much to be desired. I repeatedly had to call and follow up on items.

Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. We have worked with four other solar panel companies in the past five years. No comparison. He shows up, cleans up and stands up. His crew is business oriented and efficient. He is on site and on the roof, involved and loving his work. We canâ t say enough about the quality of this company. Well never go elsewhere. Our days of frustration and â no showsâ or weeks of wishing weâ d called someone else are OVER!

Service was not yet completed but everything is good. They are at the house today.

The young man who did the work was very professional even though he was not familiar with my system. As far as the cost, I don't have any way to decide whether the price was reasonable or not. He fixed and inoperative system and it is still working. I will call him again if I ever need someone to work with the system.
