After deciding to rebuild our older deck, we had to do some research on companies and speak with prospective vendors. We met with four businesses and carefully evaluated their offerings, services, quality of previous work, and costs. We ultimately chose the Deck Buddy primarily because of their professionalism, approach, and openness during the selection process. Doru was the primary point of contact throughout the entire process, and we chose to work with them because of his dedication, approach, and responsiveness. Every day, his team was punctual, courteous, and clean. They began on schedule and completed the entire project ahead of schedule. We are pleased with our deck and highly recommend his business and staff. Excellent work.

At first, I was glad to have hired Deck Buddy LLC, but at the end IK was totally disappointed that I hired them. I really hate to write this review; but I gave the company plenty of time and ever chance to fix a problem that occurred at the end. Initially they did a pretty good job and responded to my request to fix a problem, he was so responsive that when it was time to make the last payment; even though the company was not completely finished; I made the last payment. A big mistake. Once that final payment was done and the check cleared, the kindness ended. Alone with the deck I hired them to resurface my patio. He did it twice and the workmanship was very poor and I called him back for a third time and he refused. Even the contract we both signed had a workmanship clause that the company would not honor. The Contractor's name was Doru Pricope. I think as long you owe the company money; they will make sure that you were satisfied, I made the big mistake and paid off before I was completely satisfied. And I asked him to come out and inspect the patio and he refused. I asked him about the workmanship clause in the contract and why he would not honor it, he would not answer this question. But he did say: I did it twice and will not come out a third time because he will not make any money; and for me to hire someone else to do the work. I asked him to fix it or give my money back that I paid to have the patio done--he did refund me or fixed the patio. I even tried several times to get ahold of the office Manager by text, email and phone; with no luck. The phone number was not a working number stated by the recording when I dialed the number that was online. I do not recommend hiring this Company; because they did not honor their contract and satisfactorily complete the job with me.

Very disappointing seeing such review from a client that had a huge deck successfully resurfaced with TREX, an under deck roof installed free of charge and a concrete patio painted twice. Yes, the concrete patio painting/sealing didn't come out perfect, and we couldn't spend anymore time and resources for re-redoing the patio, while this was being pushed down our throat even though it was an addition to the main scope of work, which was the deck. Change Orders and Addendum to Contract were specifically described in our Contract. However, the client refused to a knowledge a Change of Order and expected to have the patio done for the third time

For my deck project, despite confirming the color I requested (redwood natural tone), they painted it plain redwood. Whether it was a Deck Buddy or Home Depot error, they agreed to promptly repaint it at no cost. The price was quite reasonable considering I had to replace a few boards as well. The quality of the work was excellent and the deck looks amazing.

I highly recommend Deck Buddy. Our screened porch (inside and out), deck and stairs were badly in need of cleaning and resealing. We had 4 different companies out here to quote the job. Deck Buddy was by *far* the most professional of the bunch, extremely competent and moreover pleasant to work with. They came exactly on time and were able to answer all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable about the work and the products/services they would use/perform. Their bid was neither the highest nor the lowest. Their service tech spent 3 days here cleaning, repairing, and refinishing our porch and deck. It looks like new. I am so pleased. We have attempted to do this work ourselves in the past, and paid to have it done by a different company once before, but never achieved the results Deck Buddy did. I should add, that when we paid to have this work done before, it did not seem like the other company applied very much product to the wood. This time, with Deck Buddy, you can see the wood is thoroughly sealed. Also, in comparison to our earlier experience, Deck Buddy took care to cover all my plants and also the house siding to protect from overspray. (Not protecting my plants was a problem with a different powerwashing company we hired once - my hostas were shredded - you have to watch out for this). Deck Buddy was extremely careful with everything and left no mess or debris behind, the porch and deck look great, the garden is unscathed. It was a job well done. Thank you!!!!

the worker used some chemical that killed off a number of our plants below the deck. Maybe he thought they were weeds, but he should have asked before doing this. The stain job was fine and we were pleased with the results.
