Reviews
Write a ReviewCompetent, knowledgeable men came to do the work I needed. They even saved me money! They included me in every step so I understood the science of the work, which they very well explained. I highly recommend DBS.
Contracted with DBS for some concrete lifting and repair on my front porch steps that have sunk, and concrete steps to the sidewalk that slid downhill and pushed the landing above the sidewalk. Contract stated they would lift the porch steps and block to support, and remove and replace the landing that had shifted, while leveling the rest of the sidewalk, though my only concerns were for the steps. Crew came, filled the entire void of the porch with foam that lifted nothing, and simply cut off the end of the landing concrete, making a sharper and more awkward step with crumbling concrete visible. They then sent me an invoice for the full remainder, to which I responded with the unacceptability of the work and demanded a refund. $3400 total, received a call offering to drop the total to $2100 and gaslighting me about the experience and insisting on the quality of the work while making excuses about what was done and why.
Finished work was just OK. Feathering of new concrete to existing not the greatest. Was a hiccup on the scope of work where water would exiting the house would terminate. In another review I made DBS response was for me to contact them and never did hear a word. Workers were professional and polite, did a good clean up.
Met with them in March 2023, to lift the concrete apron in front of our garage. We still signed even though they tried to sell us an air purifier, which was weird. We were put on the schedule for mid July, but we got a text a few days later stating the work would be done the first week of August. We were promised the price of lifting the concrete was"less than half of getting new concrete." Didn't hear from them in August. Nothing In September. Not even October! Assumed they went out of business because the salesperson didn't respond to texts. Meanwhile, siding contractor told us we'd still collect water under the slab due to the slope of our driveway. Got new concrete apron and sidewalk for just a few hundred dollars more than DBS charged us for foam! Finally got a text on NOVEMBER 14th that they were coming! Too late! They gave a partial refund, but they kept several hundred dollars for their "cancelation fee" even though they ghosted us for eight months. Lying thieves!
Henrik was very kind and knowledgeable during the initial estimate. Nate and Tyler did great work and were very personable.
Uriah came out and gave a remarkably thorough inspection to prepare a detailed proposals on the spot. His expertise and professionalism were admirable.
Thank you for your kind words! We are proud to have excellent employees that also live by our mission of creating "WOW" relationships while providing permanent home performance solutions. We look forward to working with you!
The job needs to be fixed already it wasnâ t done to completion on day one. I needed the concrete patio to shed water away from the house. It currently is shedding water towards the house. Why I hired them is to correct that problem. My hope is this small issue will be able to be resolved today.
Hired them on the 21st of January and the project was done today, Feb 9th
The worst experience ever. The company told me that the project would take about 10 days, and to be 100% sure done, they scheduled it for 2 two weeks. After 6 weeks, the company did not finish the job, and the part they did was not done professionally.
