My countertops look so much better and shine. I was very surprised that he would not do my backsplash due to the fact he thought it would crack (it is large tiles.) I have checked since and was told that they would not break. Also, he left a good inch or more on each side of my stove top that was not polished. I figured because I have a glass top stove he did not want to get near it. However, if he had called that to my attention we could have pulled the stove out for him to the sides. I am pretty disappointed with the finished job. For what I paid him I expected it to look new like he told me it would. He was only here a couple of hours. I have several friends that have noticed the places right away. I also have found a few places he missed. I called him and ask him about doing my wet bar counter top and he said it might be too small and I got the impression he was not interested. I also suggested that he tell his customers that there are places he will not sand and surely they make a smaller sander that would help with that problem. I can believe I am the only one that has had this problem. Do not know if I made him mad with my suggestions but I thought it was good advice. Like I said the countertops he sanded looks great and very good shine. But when you look at them and see the dull (also make it look two different colors) backsplash and a streak down each side of my stove it really does not look nice. There is a place next to my refrigerator that he missed. I would appreciate if you could help me with this and have him to come back. I read all the wonderful reviews he has gotten so I know he can do a better job for me. Thank you, J. Hair
Response from Company:
Wow. I"m a little shocked by this review. The conversations we had about things while I was there did not lead me to believe you felt that way. I never take any payment from anyone unless they are satisfied with the job. As I said, cracking the tile was not the only reason I could/would not do it. I can do it. But not while it is installed on the wall and embedded into tile. I would have to remove the Corian backsplash, which I am more than willing to do, and re install it of course but it does cost extra because it turns a simple and affordable countertop refinish into a more labor intensive tear out and re installation of the Corian backsplash and the tile backsplash may be damaged during the tearout of the Corian backsplash. I am not worried about the tile cracking from me refinishing the Corian backsplash because I can not refinish it while on the wall. Yes. You advised me that surely there must be a smaller sander. I explained in great detail how a 3 or 4 inch tall piece of corian is too small to refinish because of the overlapping process between each grit of sandpaper. They do make smaller sanders but you still can not perform the process properly while the backsplash is on the wall because simply being able to touch the backsplash with a sander is not the same thing as doing a quality refinish. The finished result would be more like vandalism than quality work. Also shocked because the last text message I sent you on 3-11-2019 said with a smiley face that I would let you know when I was coming back down there and would take a look at the other countertops while I am there. In your reply, the last line says "Thanks, my counters look great."

It was a good day when I contacted Bryan Dix about refurbishing our corian countertops and repairing a "crockpot crack". He's truly a perfectionist with knowledge, ability and determination he brings to the job that results in exceeding customer expectations. And, above all, Bryan is a wonderful person that makes working with him a pleasure. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Brian was professional, quick, and did quality work. DonÂ’t work with anyone before getting a quote from Complete Solid Surface Refinishing first
