The first installer was totally incompetent--nothing level, holes in the plaster, etc. Complained and owner sent a new crew to tear out and remake the closet. Second time was very satisfactory.

The installation crew worked very hard to fix factory fabrication issues, and answered all of our questions. They worked non-stop from time of arrival until departure-about 7 hours.

Closet Factory was able to leverage economies of scale to get me a better price. The same unit done locally was over $1000 more. The one thing I would say is that if you deal with them, be firm with them, and have a good idea of what you want and what an adequate price for that is. If you don't, they'll try to sell you hard on lots of things, that you might not need.

Cabinet for insert was meticulously measured and all TV/sterio components measured for maximum use of space. Installation was prompt and they made it look easy.

Had a custom built cabinet to house satellite receiver, DVD, CDs, etc. Wanted it to hide wires from side and front views. Asked for recessed back and a toe kick. Did not get either so installing wires through the back was difficult and we can see the wires from the side view. Acceptable but a bit annoying.
