I hired Clark Home Inspections to do a buyers inspection for a home I purchased. When he gave me the report it stated that the bolts holding the house on the sill plate to the foundation were securely fastened under the house. Shortly after this I was repairing a leaking pipe under my crawl space I observed wood along several sections of the sill plate destroyed that left it weak and crushed leaving the house in danger structurally. If he was able to see and state that the bolts were securely fastened in his report then he would not have missed the crushed sill plate. He could have easily have seen large sections of crushed sill plate at 6ft away. The damage was so severe I had to have multiple sections of my house jacked up and several sections of sill plate replaced as a result. His customer service was not great and he became very defensive after this as well. I would not recommend his business to anyone.

Steve is extremely knowledgeable and is right to the point. I definitely would recommend him to anyone looking to have a home inspected before purchase as he saved me from a complete money pit and taught me a lot along the way. I didnâ t do a full inspection i told him to stop early due to to many things wrong and he was honest enough to offer a partial refund as he didnâ t do the whole inspection. great guy, great work, upfront and honest.

Steve was awesome throughout my entire home inspection process. Unfortunately, the house I have been looking at I will be walking away from, but I am thankful and grateful for the dedicated work Steve provided. He was able to uncover evidence of mold substances and we proceeded with testing. There were numerous other findings he found. His report was very thorough and informative (which I received the evening of the inspection). He answered all my questions and even spoke with contractors for me to help with discussions for possible solutions to issues found. I would recommend him to a friend, family, stranger, my pastor, or anyone else needing a home inspection.
