Write a ReviewLamiate and vyny flooring started off well except I needed someone to put the finishing caps on the stairs and flloor transitions..
Absolutely top notch. Would recommend him to anyone. Did a great job.
Great work and great personality. Will definitely recommend.
fair pricing, quick pricing and project completed in timely manner
Kind and very professional
Exceptional experience with Cerbone Flooring. I had many quotes, and he was definitely the most reasonable. He and his employee put in 1100 square feet of vinyl planks, and it turned out beautifully. He was very friendly, and easy to work with. He checked in with me regularly to ensure that I was still happy with how it was looking. He was at my house promptly when he said heâ d be there, and worked hard. I would absolutely recommend Tony and his crew for your flooring needs.
I don t even know where to start with how bad our experience was. We hired Tony to install some new hardwood and refinish some old hardwood. He assured us that he was experienced with hardwood floors. First off, he installed red oak on the same floor that had white oak, so they don t quite match. We asked him about this beforehand but trusted that he knew what he was doing. The actual hardwood installation seems fine, but that s pretty much the only thing done right. Tony s attempt at sanding and staining the older wood was absolutely awful. He didn t get all of the old stain/finish off first, so there was patches of different color stains all over the floor. To try to cover that up, in some spots he just left globs of stain on the floor and then put a layer of finish on top of that. It looked completely unacceptable by any standards, and you could pick off flakes of stain from the floor even after the finish had dried. Even the brand new hardwood wasn t stained evenly. We called him upon seeing the floors, and he did come back the next day to redo it. After he sanded and stained it again, it looked slightly better, but still had the same problems as before. He also didn t redo the corners or edges, so none of it would have matched. I pointed out to him where there was still old stain/finish still on the floor, and he denied it even though you could see it clearly. At this point he wanted to put finish on it and be done, but we told him that it was still not acceptable and not ready for finish, and we asked him to leave. He clearly did not have the experience or skill to finish hardwood correctly. He should ve told us that he was inexperienced with hardwood from the start. We ended up having to pay someone else to come and fix Tony s work by redoing it all again. This guy was shocked at how bad Tony s work was on the floors. The new guy did fix them and got them to look amazing though. If that all wasn t bad enough, it seems extremely likely that either Tony or his assistant stole an unused iPhone from us. Tony denies taking it, and denies that his assistant took it(even though he admits his assistant has been accused of stealing before). These two men were the only people in our house during the time the phone went missing, and the phone company confirms that someone has activated the phone, so we definitely did not misplace it in our house. It s hard to imagine who else could ve taken it from inside our home, since there was nobody else there. I would definitely not recommend hiring Tony for anything, but definitely don t hire him to do hardwood flooring, as he doesn t have the experience, ability, equipment, or attention to detail to sand and finish hardwood property. An absolutely awful experience and waste of time/money.
He did what he said he would do - in the time he said he would do it and at the price he said it would be.
Tony Cerbone tore out and replaced floating laminate floor in porch. I have never met a more conscientious or skilled professional willing to do whatever necessary to do a perfect job - and all at extremely reasonable cost and without wasting a minute of time.
Floor looks great. Just make sure you know up front what he is doing and you are doing, especially about preparing the room.
