Canyon Side Construction has been so wonderful to work with. After a busted dishwasher that caused extensive damage- Armando sent his team in for mitigation, demo, and the rebuild. I was so pleased with the final product. Huge attention to details, kind, professional, knowledgeable, and just an overall fun team. They also guarantee their work, so that’s a huge plus! Highly recommend Canyon Side Construction and would be honored to work with them again in the future.

If you are looking for an excellent construction company for upgrading your home do not pass this company by. We bought an old home built in 1961 and no one had upgraded this home since. We hired Canyon Side in April of 2025 to redo our basement, which they did and it turned out beautiful. We then had them put in two new driveway’s a carport a beautiful patio, they did our siding on the house and new fence completely around our property, and beautiful deck in the front of the house and lighting for the exterior of the home. They just completed the main level of the house by adding two new bathrooms, new flooring and lights, new doors and carpet and painted the entire home. They upgraded the fireplace with beautiful tile that gave it a more modern look. The kitchen is next. The guys that are on the crew, Dave, Carlos, Alberto and Juan are very talented and basically know how to do everything. Armondo the owner and Adrian the general manager are excellent to work with. They keep you informed of when the crew will be there and what they plan on doing that day. The crew shows up on time and works efficiently . I can’t say enough about this company. Thank you Canyon Side for all your hard work and constant addition to our build. We look forward to more upgrades in the future.

From the very beginning Adrian was very professional and good at communicating. Any time I had questions or concerns he was back to me within minutes. Dave, Carlo, Juan, and Berto were the guys who came in and did the magic. They were respectful of the house and meticulous about their work. When I’d come home for lunch they’d show me what they up to and ask questions about how I wanted things done. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. And the cherry on top is Armando (the owner) coming out personally after the project was finished to make sure it looked good and that we were happy. Great work at reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be calling these guys for any future projects.

My brother-in-law and sister live in a small town in Idaho. He recently had a brain tumor and stroke, had been in rehab for some time and was being discharged to home. We thought everything was worked out...or so we thought!! I live in Utah and am an older sister. When they tried to get my brother-in-law in the bathroom, the wheelchair wouldn't go thru the door. Only one side of him works very well. So my sister was having to manage him with a walker to get him through the door to use the toilet. HELP HELP HELP! I put out a call for a contractor in their town: nothing: Fortunately Angi's list provided me with 2 contractors and I didn't search either one. I called the one on the bottom of the list which was CANYON SIDE CONSTRUCTION and pleaded my case. Adrian first told me they were 2-3 weeks out to make the bathroom door wider. I pleaded more urgently. They gave in and drove 1 1/2 hrs to save a life of a 76 year old. They did this 3 times to get the job done (first drive was a consult), all the time having the complex schedule they already had. After this was all done and I had paid them, I was reading about their company and found that they are # ONE company in Twin Falls area. I ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE IT!. I was treated like we were the only thing that mattered, even though they had other jobs scheduled. Thanks Armando, Adrian and Carlos. Sorry for the SQUEEZE JOB! But we sure are appreciative! If you are looking for great contractors, you can find them here. Great personalities also. If it wasn't such a long drive for them to come to Salt Lake, I would try the squeeze" job again" ..they are THAT GOOD! Thanks again guys, my SIS was really struggling getting Mike out of the wheelchair to use the walker to go sideways into the bathroom, especially when just the left side works. You became our SUPER HEROS Candy Turnbull

A costly mistake! This was not a good experience. Armando s mismanagement and refusal to rectify the issues was extremely disappointing. This job quickly went south once we started to point out the construction defects and damages â his crew had caused; damaged property, compromised existing radiant ceiling heating, damaged personal item (furniture, appliances, clothing, etc..) poor workmanship, and a complete disregard for the trust we offered them with our home (see photos). It started by CSCàs team mistakenly tearing out the subflooring unnecessarily and not replacing it. Followed by Armando scheduling a sub-contractor to install flooring without sub-flooring. Once the flooring was installed it became obvious that the height and spacing for the cabinet, trim, and door installations was off due to no sub-flooring. We pointed this out to Armando, and he attempted to remedy the situation through short cuts with disastrous results. The flooring was now poorly installed leaving gaps, hallow spots, uneven sections and large spacing between cabinetry, walls, and brickwork. The only solutions being to replace the damaged flooring with the original professional installation standards with sub-flooring in place (see photos), but this Armando did not want to pay for. Next, we realize both bedrooms radiant ceiling heat had been damaged. These components were damaged by CSC mismanagement of ceiling fan installations. Armando ignored questions regarding their state once the fans were installed. We did not get an honest answer until we pressured Armando into bring in an Electrician we knew was licensed. It was at this point we realized that all our plumbing and electrical work had been completed by unlicensed, uncertified, and unskilled individuals. We ask for permits and licenses for the plumbing and electrical work completed, but Armando has yet to supply them. Sadly, due to the circumstance we were in we had already given Armand a large percentage of the estimate and felt forced to continue working with him. I will not even start with the three attempts at finishing the bathroom (please see photos). We have voiced our concerns to Armando. His response was to offer a payment for the necessary repairs to the radiant heating by his insurance and pay for the flooring to be replaced. In exchange he demanded we sign a full release of liability document for all work completed. As you can understand, this was not in our best interest as the totality of the potential long-term damages this company may have caused is at this point undetermined. Without a full inspection we cannot be sure and with no permits pulled we cannot get an inspection. In short, we have spent over $20,000 to repair the damages caused by Armando mismanagement. So far, the project remains incomplete. Armando refuses to contact us via email or text. Very disappointing. I understand that mistakes are made, and nothing is perfect. But, by the way this company handled its mistakes and continues to hide behind ambiguous contracts and vague promises I cannot recommend them. If you choose to hire this company, do not sign anything that you have not shown to lawyers, get everything in writing EVERYTHING!. Beware of potential costly outcomes!
