The owner, Jim, responded quickly and was able to schedule a time to come to my house much sooner than the other 2 companies I contacted. I got three estimates and his was by far the most reasonable. I felt that he was responsive as to what I wanted done and I never got the feeling that he was trying to talk me into doing more than I wanted. He kept to the schedule and his workers were great.

Jim was the only one who responded to my request and I'm glad he did. The drivable walkway really improved a problem area we had that was a mess during the rainy season. I like the fact that I can walk along that side of my home without shoes when I feel like it. If I need any more concrete work done, he's my go-to guy.

Jim Peterson is the owner and he was very nice and knew what he was doing. The job was done in a timely manner and the asphalt and new concrete curbs look great. The only reason I did not give California Outdoor 5 stars is because the post clean up and detail work was not done to my satisfaction.

I'm not sure, but I would guess that Jim is better with new and outdoor concrete. He put down self-leveling concrete inside my house and it turned out VERY poorly. I asked if he would correct the mistakes and he wouldn't. On the positive side, his worker was great and Jim was able to squeeze in my project when others couldn't. Also, the worker did a great job stripping the old mastic and working with me to put down the DPS. I still would not recommend them.

Excellent company, Jim knew exactly how to solve the problem of making changes to an older concrete patio. His estimate was reasonable, his workers did a great job and always on time. We will definitely use the company again.
