Rob and his team at Cappella Enterprises are exceptional at what they do. Their deep understanding of retaining wall design, permitting, and construction made the entire process smooth from start to finish. I obtained several bids for my project, but Rob was the only contractor who presented a comprehensive plan that addressed every aspect of the work. He completed the wall design and delivered engineer‑stamped plans for my building permit in about a week—and at a very reasonable cost. As an engineer myself, I even consulted colleagues who specialize in retaining walls, and none of them could match Rob’s pricing or turnaround time. Beyond that, Rob’s construction methods are clearly superior to those used by other contractors. When I began the project, I only had a general idea of what I wanted. Rob took those ideas and transformed them into a complete, well‑thought‑out vision, guided by his extensive experience. What impressed me most was his ability to handle unexpected challenges

The work was perfect, The back yard was finished before time and there were no mistakes made. The price was lower that the rest but the job was better than the rest. I hired these guys to handle all my other projects on my property. My pool looks like a summer wonderland. Before they touched my backyard no one wanted to go back there. Now that it's finished I can't keep people away.

Our backyard in Warwick had a hideous six foot hill that NO ONE wanted to deal with. I had several companies come out for estimates, and most of them ran in the other direction. Once we finally found a company to start the job, they left us with an even bigger disaster. Cappella Enterprises came to the rescue for us. Rob (the owner) arrived literally within a few hours of me calling him. Unlike the other companies, he was calm and confident about taking the job on. He wasn't hesitant about fixing someone else's mess. Rob was also very passionate about educating us on the details of our project, and gave us the knowledge and tools we needed to protect us from a few fraudulent "contractors". Within a few days, he helped us get on track with permits and engineered drawings, guiding us every step of the way. As the owner/operator on site, he was involved with every step of the process. Decisions made quickly to keep things moving along. They worked 7 days a week until the job was done.

Rob is caring, compassionate, patient and professional. He guided us through several processes we knew nothing about and still requested our input and respected our opinions. He does things the right way without compromise. He is also am artistic genius able to see the completed project before we could even conceptualize it. What turned was better than we expected. I would use him again for any and every hardscape project!

This gentleman has the heart of a teacher, along with a love of creating something functional and beautiful. He explained every step of the way what was needed for our retaining wall, and how a retaining wall functions; grading, drainage, equipment needed, etc. The gentleman in his crew worked tirelessly. He went above and beyond to work with us, especially since in digging they hit shale, which was a complete headache for them, and meant the job would take longer. Yes, it did mean that the job would cost more because you can't build a wall on shale, but Rob had thoroughly discussed with us ahead of time that you never know what you are going to find when you dig so we were definitely OK with having to deal with that. He also did what he could to make it work on both ends, and we are eternally grateful to him for that!

Cappella Landscaping responded to my wifeâ s and my search for a contractor to replace our deteriorated patio. The patio that we replaced was built 10 years ago and held up well for about five years, but then started to degrade at a progressively increasing rate. My wife and I were novices in this original undertaking, and it cost us. We learned that the base that the patio was built on was inadequate, and the pitch was too steep, among other things. When we first met Robert Cappella, he struck us as a true professional. He was very technically knowledgeable and told us about many things to be considered that we were not aware of. He spoke in detail about why certain things were important, including the use of high-quality materials. He seemed to be on a clearly higher level than the other contractors that we received quotes from. His quote on the job was higher than the other contractors, but our interaction with him gave us the confidence that he would produce a superior outcome. After we engaged Robert for our project, he helped usher us through the approval process that is required in our community. And when the work commenced, he brought a very capable crew of 4 to work on the building of the new patio. The project took 4 days to complete, with Robert himself working and supervising on site for most of that time. We were impressed by what we saw as the work progressed. When the work was completed, we were very happy with our beautiful new patio. Robert followed through with all of the little things that he said he would do. Robert is very gregarious and seems to love his work. As I mentioned earlier, he was more expensive than his competition, but we strongly feel that we received better value per dollar spent. We are happy with the end result and wouldnâ t hesitate to go with Robert again.
