Reviews
Write a ReviewI cannot say enough good about Michael and his crew. Once they started the deck construction, they found significant water damage to the entire back of our house. Michael reassured us that their crew could handle the entire growing project, and that they did! They did an outstanding job with not only the deck but replaced all the damaged wood and reused our siding. They did a fantastic job. We love the deck! We would highly recommend them to anyone. Michael is a gem!
Bugle construction has far exceeded our project. They were fast and very efficient in quality workmanship and I'd more than pass on my comments to anyone interested. Dealing with Micheal was a great experience and hope to have him back
We hired Bugle Construction to build a Patio Cover based on a fair price, good reviews and they were the only company that would bid on the project. We went with Joe recommendation of using 4x6 rafters and a 3x9 ridge beam instead of trusses to give the project a timber look. We requested that plans be supplied so we could review them to ensure that the construction would be as we wanted. The material was delivered on time and the crew showed up close to the expected start time. No plans had been supplied yet and Joe with the concurrence of his lead decided to rest the side beams (where the rafters would sit) on top of the outer beam. This was not the look that we wanted and had them redo that work (cutting the outer posts and reinstalling them at the correct height) so the beams were all at the same height. There were a number of other decisions made during construction that were not conveyed to us and incorrect angle/length cuts made in the rafters. Most of the sloppy work was hidden by blocking although a fair amount of the blocking was not installed very well. The plywood sheathing had looked good from the bundle top, but as they were installed there are a few that have voids in the veneer that will need to be addressed before painting (staining is not an option due to the quality of the plywood). We will also replace the split and/or warped blocking ourselves as well. Plans were finally delivered when we withheld a reasonable amount from the final payment. While there are a few errors in the plans, they are close enough. We had decided to paint the finished product ourselves and will try to fix what we can for a more pleasing visual look. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Bugle Construction for professional-level work. They also have problems with communications, both with the homeowner and subcontractors. This caused issues that could have been avoided. If you decide to contract with this company, require plans before they start work, specify the material quality, and insist on approvals before any changes are made.
Great team.
Followed through with thier promises. I was depleted impressed with the professional workmanship. The work crew very positive. No negative attitude.
Wonderful experience! They worked efficiently, they worked clean and they were polite and professional! I would definitely recommend them!
THEY WERE VERY GOOD. HAD ONE SMALL PROBLEM BUT THEY FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY TO WHERE I WAS HAPPYAND PLEASED WITH THE FINAL OUTCOME ...
This project was completed during the C 19 virus . It took longer than expected which was understandable. Michael the owner was good about staying in touch as I was not in the state during the construction. The quality of workmanship was very excellent. Very pleased with the end product. I would hire Bugle again without question. They did some extra work in the cabin without charge. Our project ended up needing some electrical which they don't do, however they deducted the electrical cost from the overall extimate which was very fair. Very friendly folks.
I was very pleased with the construction of my storage/workshop room. What I wanted was a little unconventional but the construction workers did it exactly the way I wanted it done, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Everyone on the crew was very friendly and very professional. Sometimes they even let me help out so it would be exactly the way I wanted it. I am very happy with the results.
My husband and I are so happy with the work performed by Bugle Construction. Joe was so good about returning calls, emails, and texts and answered our many questions right away. Our project was multi-layered and complicated, but Joe and his crew were great at problem solving and coming up with good solutions to various design challenges and communicating with us about different options. Joe and his crew added two decks to our main house and built another deck on our guesthouse, which required a window to be relocated and a sliding glass door to be installed. They worked through all types of weather, sometimes surrounded by wild turkeys and deer, and were so nice. We would definitely recommend Bugle Construction to anyone who is looking for great quality and excellent customer service.
