Write a ReviewBrainards is the ultimate man for any job
He did a really great job when all of the other companies that came out did the job horribly.
He is very Attentive he helped me get my house fix up after a renter moved out. He willing to tackle any job and he always make sure I'm happy with the job before he leaves.
On time good work
Dave and his crew removed one mulberry tree, three palms and a gigantic prickly pear from my yard. They were timely, professional, VERY reasonable in terms of price, and left my yard in much better shape than they found it. All the tree stumps were ground and are now barely visible, flush with the ground. I would highly recommend them.
Dave keeps in touch with the customer every step of the way. He makes reasonable suggestions about what might be done and discusses the benefits and drawbacks to different approaches to a job. When he makes a recommendation, he explains his reasons for doing so. When necessary, Dave works along with his affable crew. (It's a sign of a well-run business if the owner pitches in to help his workers.) We have used Brainard's for two large tree-pruning projects in the last seven months. We won't hesitate to hire them for future tasks.
Delight to work with. Had a huge cottonwood tree trimmed. Big job.
Totally inept on accomplishing the work. Instead of removing the trees and coring the roots he was just going to "Jerk them out of the ground" by using his truck. His chain wasn't long enough to attach to the tree. He jury-rigged the chain with some straps, backed the truck up, gas it the gas and his truck came off the ground but the tree didn't move. Not having the right tools, he burnt up his saw-all and had to quit because of darkness. His worker came back the next day and completed the job but we still spent a full day cleaning up after him after he left. Nice enough guy but not qualified to remove my trees.
Hey James sorry about your confusion just to clarify we used a winch and not a strap. Straps are not used in such applications. Method is always discussed and agreed upon prior to contracting. This particular space was unique in shape and required some creative adaptation. When we left the job site our work was praised as a "great job" and "what an amazing end product". We were even asked if we would return for Spring plantings. We always strive to please our customers and leave a clean work space. I am so confused by and sorry for your experience. Honesty, Integrity, and a Superior Product is our standard.
