Bossman Construction Co LLC is a family owned and operated company in Flushing, MI. Established in 2001 and later restructured in 2010 to strictly cater to residential home remodeling and improvements. We operate at a smaller scale to insure quality work at better prices. Our slogan is "Have it Built Better by Bossman" and in order to do that, we employ our own master carpenters and installers for most of our projects. We are fully licensed, fully insured, and carry workers compensation. We proudly offer all types of financing for your project and also offer a peace of mind "low price guarantee" on our products to ensure you have made the best decision for your home and family!

Terrible work! They installed the tiles crooked. The shower floors do not drain, and the grout crumbled. See the review on Google for pictures.

Remodel a Bathroom

Renovated a half bath. No complaints. We were kept up to date on special order vanity and start date. Kevin is excellent. His work is outstanding and he is easy to work with. He only took two days to completely finish the entire renovation. This is the second bath he has done for us and we would not hesitate to have him back.

Build or Replace a Composite Deck

Bossman built a side porch made of composite materials for us last summer. They just finished building a roof cover over our side porch two weeks ago. My husband & I are so pleased with the results for both projects. We have gotten such positive response from our neighbors,too. Their staff is the best, both highly skilled & professional. Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof

Part of garage wall repaired. Poor workmanship. When reroofed, side had dip in it. Second garage had cupola. Cupola was just placed on roof without being attached. Was also damaged when lifted to roof. Roof with dip was never repaired. Several times felt I was recieved.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
