I am not sure how there are any good ratings based on our experience, it was a nightmare that we are still recovering from. I am so sorry for anyone who hired them in the interim and suffered as a result of my delayed review. Bella managed to replace the roof without issues, that went fine. We needed to make many modifications to bring our house up to code. Projects included replacing windows, replacing our retaining wall, deck repair and remodeling, and siding repair that amounted to rot repair. They ripped our house apart as well as our front yard and retaining wall. When the retaining wall was down, our house at the top of a hill of a populated street had a mass of loose dirt that could have risked a massive landslide. When the windows were removed prior to the weekend, there was nothing in place to keep out the weather and it rained into our house that weekend--they would not help us until Monday. They refused to move forward with repairs without us signing a contract that they drew up themselves. For example that would have started at $25k for rot repair with no cap and was then fixed by another contractor perfectly for $12k. They put a lean on our house even though we had paid for all projects completed, and we needed to hire a lawyer, unfortunately it was not worth it for us to sue, and we settled to have the lean lifted so that we could fix our house in disrepair. Much of the work that was done, was subpar and needed to be fixed by a new contractor. Our neighbors told us one of the workers regularly urinated in our yard and exposed himself in front of her children, despite their having full reign of our working bathrooms. Our losses are difficult to calculate given the fact that work was needed in the first place, but we lost at least $13k in resolving the lean. We were fortunate to find Bill, our new contractor after, but no one should be held hostage with the house they live in. Stay away there are honest people out there, they are just harder to find!

Adam the owner of Bella Masonry and Construction LLC is very professional and provides excellent customer service. He goes above and beyond to complete the project on time. We wanted Adam to build storage in closet and he heard our need and created storage space exactly as we asked him to. He makes sure to clean the debri and dust and leaves the house clean after the job was completed. Adam also installed cabinets for us and did a great job. Now whenever we have any project around the house we always reach out to Adam. He is the best in what he does. We are very happy with all the projects Adam did for us.

We had 1-2 inches of water in our basement due to a very high-water table, this spring. We received other water proofing vendor quotes but when Adam came out, he first surveyed our outside foundation landscape pitch and down spout drains and knowledgably pointed out that we should, 1st, correct these deficiencies. Then, Adam and I collaborated over a couple of months to come up with an inside basement water proofing drainage design that met my specific requirements. This resulted in installing perimeter drainage pipes at the footing level. Adam was meticulous and precise with marking his floor cut lines and determining drainpipe slope that exceeded typical minimum specs. I was impressed by the way he carefully thought through the design and any obstacles encountered along with his attention to the small details. We jointly decided on selecting an ION dual sump pump system with electronic water sensing (no moving parts) and wall mounted controller which alternates pumping between the two pumps. Although cost was a bit more than the typical Home Depot pumps, this system even allows us to see and set the water level in the basin at which pumping will start at the push of a button on the wall controller, so we can reduce the number of pump cycles, to extend their life, if we so choose. The system can even notify us if a system error occurs or if water exceeds the 'high level' setting. We are extremely pleased with the overall design and system and genuinely thank Adam for his professional collaboration and attention to detail at a reasonable cost and overall 'job well done'! I highly recommend Adam for any masonry, water proofing and construction projects and would definitely call him again for any new project.
