I was very impressed by the professionalism, and excellent work done by Sylvain and his employees. During our first meeting for an estimate, Sylvain listened to my "wish list" to upgrade my older, patio room enclosure and told me he could provide what I wanted. Sylvain did an excellent job on my patio room with new exterior siding and interior drywall, a new door and 3 new energy saving windows. New insulation was also installed. Sylvain also installed an energy saving, through the wall, AC unit and 2 new ceiling fans which I had purchased. The exterior siding was painted to match my home, and the new drywall was painted a color of my choice. Daily, the jobsite was left clean. There were no unpleasant surprises or unexpected costs above the estimate I had agreed to. Sylvain was on the job each day, and communicated with me often as to the progress of the project. My new patio room enclosure was completed ahead of schedule, Sylvain's job estimate was very reasonable. Sylvain is very knowledgeable about all aspects of construction. I highly recommend Sylvain and would be happy to have him work on my next home improvement project.

Sylvain was there everyday of work. He has many many years of construction and framing. He did an excellent job and we would urge you to hire him if you want someone you can trust. He is a good honest contractor which we find hard to find.

One of the best experiences I have had with a contractor doing repairs on my home. He came in and gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be done, including items that I was unaware that were in fact needed. He explained the concerns he had and then gave me an estimate of the work. He and his crew were careful to use all Covid safety measures to ensure the health of everyone involved. His estimate for the time it would take and of the price were correct and the job was completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend him for any repairs.

Facing the reality that the back of our house was not built properly and actively falling down, I was overwhelmed. I contacted an architecture firm to draw up plans to do the rebuild correctly and up to code. Once the plans were finalized and approved by the city, I had no idea how to proceed. I contacted Marquis Associates, with Sylvain as the lead contractor. Marquis Associates provided a realistic estimate and timeline which I accepted. Sylvain took total charge and provided daily updates. I never once had to question any of the process. The Marquis Associates team was professional, nice, and tried their best to not interrupt our daily routine. Since the estimate was realistic, there were no surprises thru the process. Marquis Associates was very accomodating as we added a few items to the project. This was a big project that lasted a few months. I was surprised at how clean and organized the worksite was even thru demolition. Sylvain juggled holidays and rain to keep the project going and worked with the city with inspections and approvals. The project is now complete and within budget. I am thrilled with the work of Marquis Associates and Sylvain. Sylvain will be first person I contact for any future interior or exterior projects.
