Japanese burnt hardwood wasn’t the easiest material to work with from what we learned during this project. We wanted a Shou Sugi Ban style exterior and talked to a few contractors before finding Arista. A lot of people either didn’t want to deal with it or tried steering us toward something more standard. The material itself had about a 3 week lead time and came with pretty specific install requirements to avoid damaging the finish or throwing off the overall look. What stood out to us was how much attention they gave to the details. The shadow gap layout had to stay perfectly consistent and the alignment really mattered with this style of siding. It’s one of those materials where small mistakes would stand out immediately. They took their time with it and never made it feel rushed even when parts of the install were tedious. The finished house looks amazing. The texture and depth of the burnt hardwood changes throughout the day depending on the lighting and it gave the house a completely different feel without looking overdone. We’ve already had multiple people stop to ask about it because it’s not something you see every day. Really glad we trusted Arista with it.

We recently replaced our old wood siding, which had begun to rot, with stucco—and the transformation has been incredible. The entire property now looks cleaner, more modern, and much more durable. What really stood out was the care the crew put into the demolition and preparation work. They didn’t rush the process or cut corners, and it was clear they focused on doing things the right way beneath the surface, not just on the final appearance. They were also very respectful throughout the project, keeping the work area tidy, minimizing disruption, and being considerate of our neighbors when it came to noise and overall impact. Now that everything is finished, the house feels properly sealed and significantly upgraded. We’re really happy with both the quality of the work and the overall experience.

Needed some siding repaired and decided to have the exterior painted at the same time. Really glad I did. The place looks so much better now and the patched areas don’t stand out at all. They were reliable, easy to deal with, and kept things tidy while they worked. Just an overall good experience and I’d recommend them to anyone in Danville.

Got a new deck built by Arista Exteriors and it turned out exactly how we had in mind. Craftsman style, the kind of setup you’d scroll past on Pinterest and save. They used Trex in the toasted sand color and it looks really good in person. The built in benches and planter boxes really make it stand out. Gives it that finished feel instead of just a basic deck. You can tell they paid attention to how everything comes together. We were on a tight deadline and they actually delivered on it. No delays, no runaround. Just stayed on schedule and got it done. End result looks great and feels solid underfoot.

arista exteriors fix my siding on house and was honestly very good job. before it look kinda bad like pieces coming off and weird gaps. now is all straight and nice and looks like new again. guys come on time and just do the work no talking too much which i like. price also not crazy like other people say. i dont know much about siding but it look strong now so i am happy. would call them again probably 👍
