They installed the wrong gauge wire for the load. The receptacle burned out two years later. Matt promptly came out, but said he couldn't find a cause. Was about to hire him again. Oddly, the friend who recommended them, they did that job correctly. My friend looked at mine and said right away, "These wires look thinner." Then I got a second opinion from another electrician, who demonstrated several defects in installation, including the work clearly not to code. This cost hundreds to repair, and was a near-miss of a disaster. I sent a detailed email with documentation and made a modest demand for compensation, a chance to preserve their reputation and make it right. No word after a couple weeks.

Matt and his team were very professional! They informed of everything they were doing throughout the process of upgrading my whole house electrical wiring/electrical panel project. Their service was much appreciated. Thank you!

Matt, came to the house same day we called to help with an electrical hum/buzz and found the problem immediately. Simple fix but the sound drove me nuts. Grateful he was able to find it so fast.

I live in a nearly 100 yo house needing some updated wiring on the upper floor to support window AC units, and a repair of the main circuit going to the kitchen due to corrosion from a prior water leak. For both jobs, Matt and sons from Archer were quick and efficient, quoted me less than a competitor, and other than having the power you hired them for, could barely tell they had been there. I am very much pleased that I no longer have to power half my kitchen with a heavy duty extension cord and I can sleep without the ice packs when it is super hot and humid.!
