The chimney was serviced from the top down, but not from the bottom. A further inspection but another company revealed that the service from Top Shield was not adequate.

My husband of over 30 years passed away unexpectably February of 2008. He had so many skills and so much knowledge about how to care for,repair or build anything at our home. When I started to need services for the upkeep,repairs and home improvements of our home I was lost as to where to turn.I found and have been using Home Advisor for my home when ever I needed to find a business to help me over the years since my husband's passing. I have only had excellent experiences with everyone I have found through Home Advisor. My latest find on Home Advisor was A1 Dependable LLC. I was in need of a roof repair due to a leak in my dining room ceiling. When I received the 3 recommended contractors from Home Advisor I called the first one on the list because they had a 5 STAR RATING. EDISON answered the phone and came the next day to give me an estimate. He was pleasant,knowledgeable and was genuine and cared about helping me with my situation which meant so much under my circumstances. This was a Saturday morning. He went up and inspected the roof and took video of the areas that would need to be repaired. He wrote up the estimate and when I asked him when he could do the work he told me that Monday. I felt comfortable with all of the details and the price. I needed to use a credit card due this unexpected repair and he told me that was no problem. They came on time and completed all of the work on Monday and sent me pictures of all of the completed repairs. They looked great. He took my credit card over the phone. Then he told me that if and when I needed to replace the roof that he would give me half of the cost of this repair as a credit towards the cost. This was an EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND EXPERIENCE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A1 DEPENDABLE BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT THEY WERE DEPENDABLE

A1 Dependable team really helped me when I was in a bind. My chimney was leaking and I needed service ASAP. They were quick to get me a quote and start the work on the chimney.
