Write a ReviewI hired All Precision last September to remodel my bathroom. A new mirror was installed over the new vanity. Last month, the mirror came crashing down from the wall. Thankfully, no one was in the bathroom at the time. I'm especially grateful that my granddaughter wasn't in the bathroom at the time. I called Anthony, the owner, to let him know what happened. He kind of chuckled, said that he would have to find the studs in the wall next time but that he couldn't come back for a week. That's the last communication that I've had with him. He never returns my calls. His painting skills are lacking and his attention to detail is poor. I'm having the mirror replaced and will take him to small claims court to recoup my money. Live and learn. Stay away.
I had spoken to Doug about this situation and had told him to contact me when he had purchased a new mirror and I would gladly come back to install it at no charge. That is how we last left off and I haven't heard from him since. He was under the impression that I was going to purchase him a new mirror, even though I had done the bathroom remodel nearly 11 months before this had happened. With the mirror being secured for nearly a year, I'm under the assumption that maybe someone slammed a door hard or something had to happen to make the mirror fall all of a sudden. Also I would never chuckle or laugh at a customer, or anyone for that reason. Doug never mentioned anything about painting imperfections to me or I would've gladly came back and touched it where needed. I think this situation is unfortunate and also unfair that my name has to be negatively impacted for something that was out of my control.
Hired Anthony to raise a small deck to just under door height and build a handicap ramp. The deck is to the wrong height and the ramp is under structured and doesn't meet code or standard building practices and the railings are crooked and shaky. When I pointed out the flaws they left the job with the project incomplete and they have not returned my phone calls. Now I have to hire another contractor to rebuild the ramp and set the deck to the proper elevation.
What this customer has failed to mention is that he had me reusing 15-year-old materials as the decking and railing. I made the best deck and ramp as possible but with decking that old plus sitting outside under a tree in the moisture for who knows how long, the deck was not 100% as all my other projects are. The ramp is fully functional and the deck height that I raised it to is completely functional for their purpose. I couldn't raise it any higher because the customer made it known that they wanted the front door changed at a later date so I had to leave space for that. I usually don't reuse customers materials for this reason. Also, I refused.
