Write a ReviewFirst off the estimate was high for the job they were hired to do, I was moving from a condo in Mason to one in Loveland with an elevator. I prefer to not have a lot of possessions but most of what I do have was planning on moving myself so I could ensure there would be no damage incurred. The estimator insisted on including everything in the estimate anyway, of course. The weekend before the move, my daughter and my son in law and I moved ALL smaller boxes and ALL fragile items ourselves, so there were very few boxes. Most of my furniture is not large or heavy so we figured we would cut the estimate for the move in half at least, especially if there were going to be 3 movers with the use of an elevator. Also, almost everything had been prepped for the move beforehand to cut time for the movers. Want to talk as slow as MOSES! These guys were outrageous. Only one was in the condo moving things in, the other 2 stayed outside the entire time... I was busy managing everything the inside guy was doing and it was impossible for me to get outside to see what they were doing as the guy inside blocked the damned elevator... and no, I did NOT have it reserved!!! So for all the work my family and I did over the weekend, I got a whole $200 knocked off the bill. Then, I found one of my patio chairs (very heavy cast iron, expensive!!!) in the dumpster with the back legs broken off!!! How the hell did that even happen. They took my stepstool with them and when I called to get it back sent me a pic of it, said they would get it back to me the next morning (and the morning after that) and I am still waiting. I have called, e-mailed, numerous times, and I am still waiting. The next step is to file a claim with BBB and or talk to my attorney. Never hire these shysters. And to think I tipped these idiots. Shady organizations act shady and do not respond to customer complaints even when you send them pictures. Geez.
Came to unload our furniture without a dolly? My husband unloads 1/2 of the truck.. we spent 2000.00.
Damaged furniture charged wrong rate.
Movers were 4 hours later than quoted. Did not bring correct number of guys or size trucks that I was quoted. Did not wrap leather furniture. Tracked in mud on carpet in old and new house. Put marked boxes in wrong locations on wrong floors. Lead man as well as others were extremely nice, well mannered. Just too many issues.
They were on tikbe and did an excellent job.
They were unprofessional, one of there employees asked for a tip...Twice. They stacked the boxes so high I can not even get to them, the company said this is normal and called me a liar.
They tried to extend working time (charge more). Two men came and always one guy worked and an another did not work hard. Also, they scratched wall and the wall has stained.
It took almost 12 hours to move five rooms of furniture. They brought no wrapping tape, and and twice had to wait to be resupplied with boxes loosing about 1.5 hours, broke the base of a floor lamp for which I got a $70 discount. An estimator visited prior to move and was told they would pack, yet they showed up short of material.
Very disappointed! My washer was dropped and determined not to be repairable by our technician we had look at it. The movers claimed no responsibility and did not repair or replace it. They cited no visual damage outside however the counterweight inside was knocked off. I worked the day before we moved and did not the day after we moved.
