Great customer service very professional
Richard installed a system in our home. There was a problem within the first few weeks. He immediately responded and rectified the situation. Service! Service! Service!
Very quick response, extremely knowledgeable and courteous. We are relatively new to Logan Martin area and are very happy to have found this company. I’m going to continue using Richard and Matthew for all of my heating and cooling needs.
My power was running me $30 a day. Richard figured out the problem and now I am happy to say it's only $6 on average!!!!
We had a whole new HVAC unit placed in 2020 by Alabama Cooling and Heating. We paid $7800 for this unit and for the labor. Fast forward to 2023 and we are having trouble with our heat. We called this company, they sent a technician out, and he barely looked at the unit, was very dismissive of our concerns, and basically told us our issue was that we needed to change our filter more often. He charged us 200 dollars. Our heat struggled to work properly throughout the winter, but we thought everything was working properly per this technician. Now it is 2024 and our heat is barely working. We called a different company. This technician really took his time and informed of us of several issues. 1.) We had a leaking coil, no big deal, we can replace. 2.)(The reason that I am leaving this review) Alabama Cooling and Heating NEVER WIRED/HOOKED UP our electric heat. This would be how our emergency heat would function. That was never hooked up. A heat pump switches to emergency heat when the outdoor temperature drops below a certain point, typically between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, making it difficult for the heat pump to extract enough heat from the outside air to meet your home's heating needs, thus activating a backup heating source like electric heat. For the past 4 years we have had no emergency heat which we never realized. We did think it was strange that our heat couldn't keep up when it was really really cold, but it actually was just because it should have switched to Electric (emergency heat) BUT IT WAS NOT HOOKED UP 3.) They also programmed our thermostat incorrectly for a furnace (which we do not have). I feel like after spending this much money and trusting a company to do good work, finding out a huge component of our heating source was never even hooked up, was a slap in the face. (I highly recommend essential heating and cooling who is now having to go behind this company and fix these mistakes. Austin with essential heating and cooling was absolutely fantastic)
