When putting in driveway I ask him do I need to haul in sand... johnny told me no it will not crack so I ask him about rebar he told me know the concrete have some special stuff in it that it will not crack. I had a issue I told johnny about some of the dirt didn't get remove before they poor the concrete he blow me offf when they poor the drive way I ask his guys about the lines that need to be cut johnny stop them and told me I need to paid for that after they finish I stay off my concrete for a month because I didn't want any cracks if you want to see his work come to 442 Barrel DR Winterville NC and see his work . I had to fill in the dirt around the edges of the concrete and hauled off debris that was left over and filled in holes that machine did. Try calling him back almost a year now he will not pick up. My driveway look a mess from day one and johnny will not do anything about it or the concrete company I call both company next step small claim court I'm tired and frustrated with these company. I don't talk bad about company I will never hired him again I'm not telling anyone to turn him away just judge for yourself look at my driveway the proof is there.
The guy that owns this business is a super nice person and the finished work is great. However, they left a pile of roots and dirt in my front yard that the town would not pick up. He said that they would get it but something would always come up...working late or other jobs. What I'm not a paying customer? There was no problem cashing my checks. I didn't try to low ball him on the quote. Anyway, I loaded and Jules of the debris myself. Also, they added a parking pad which I wanted but put a curve on it which causes me to have to run over the area where I'm now trying to grow grass. If I park my truck in the drive and have my wife park on the pad, it's tight trying to get her car onto the pad because of the length of the truck. You shouldn't have to be so careful pulling into your own driveway and inching tour car along so as to not hit the other vehicle. I contacted him about this concern and he said that he did not take the length of the truck into consideration. I told him it was tight but doable. After trying to park various ways, it remains an issue. I emailed him a couple of days later to express the same concern, but received no reply. I choose not to pursue this further so as to not shred my nerves. I will hire someone else to straighten that curve at a later date. To summarize, work and speed of work is good. Paying 8 grand to leave debris in your yard is bad. Sorry, would not recommend based on this and the weird curve.
Just went through a month of set-backs due to rain after having the original concrete removed and Argo (Johnny), and his team were there through the worst and best of times. I am so happy to announce that my driveway is finally complete. I am even more happy, or should I say, in awe of the quality of workmanship and attention to detail they provided. I highly recommend they're service, and if I can only keep the neighbors dog from running across my newly poured concrete, I will be in new driveway heaven. Thanks guys. Great job :)
He did exactly what I wanted him do in the time I needed it done.
I would recommend them.
