Mr. Mason's crew cut all my new 6 panel doors too short, the floor is coming up where he took the wall down (have to seek another floor person to repair it), poor planning of electrical work (had to hire an electrician to fix what I requested to have done), installed cheap laminated floors that I was told wouldn't be scratch but are scratched. Call him regarding all my issues, was told his had surgery and would get back to me, that did not happen. Followed up with an email regarding all the problems, no reply. I would never hire this guy and his crew ever again.

I am pleased to offer a 5-star review for Michael Masons company, A-Pro Builders. Having engaged their services for several projects, I can attest to their excellence. They expertly renovated a rental property, addressing issues such as destroyed bathroom flooring with replacement, installing new kitchen cabinets, and encapsulating basement flooring from harmful materials. Additionally, they performed a complete overhaul of a multi-family property, which included converting a 1970s tub into a walk-in tile shower, updating kitchen and bathroom flooring, refinishing wood floors, and repainting the entire house. Another project involved constructing a new stair entry and repairing my deck. All work was completed promptly, within budget, and by a team that was professional, friendly, and meticulous.

The doors look great and they open and close smoothly. The contractor kept in touch and did the job when he said it would be done. I made a mistake communicating what I wanted done, entirely my fault and they came back the next day to take care of it. I would hire them back without hesitation.

I made adjustments as they went along (they were working with the frame of an existing deck). They were very accommodating and professional. Excellent value- the costs were reasonable and extremely competitive.

Amazing experience so far, finishing our basement and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure our needs for the space are met. The team is there every day early and works hard all day. Highly recommend.

This is a follow-up to my previous review. I hired A-Pro to complete a bathroom remodel and the short version was not happy with the result in any way. After what seemed to me, like a long process, the owner and I were able to reach an agreement on the expectations of this job vs. the results and we figured out an amicable solution for us both to move on and chalk this up as a learning experience for both. I respect the fact that the company worked with me and ultimately recognized my issues and was intent on creating a solution for me. For that, I commend them and would recommend them.

I would not recommend A Pro Builder to do any job you are looking for. I went off of these reviews and hired them, and now I feel completely misled. I cannot say they are 4.7 stars with certainty, and I would not give them less than a star if I could. Overall, their quality of work is not what they say it is. Do not trust your first impression. If something seems too good to be true, it very likely is.
