I asked for 4 quotes to replace my front walkway. Adrian was the first to respond and the most reasonable. He came up with a sound solution that included perspectives that the other companies did not consider. He was here within a week and he and his son installed the most beautiful walkway! It has a strong foundation and he used beautiful materials. He even redesigned our entry step to tie the work together. He was reliable and kind. My neighbors have all asked for his card. I would recommend this family for any masonry work you need!

Fantastic father & son team! They repaired a cement block garage built in 1900. Can’t find those blocks anymore, so they actually sculpted them to look like the originals! You can’t tell where the original damage was. They are truly master masons!!

The quote was half the price of all the others. We had almost given up on finding someone and we found him! He came on time working through the day and just was outstanding! We hired him for two more jobs and didnâ t even seek other offers after the first job because we knew his work and we knew he gave us a fair quotes that fit what we were willing to pay. !

Repair a Brick or Stone Fireplace (Non-Gas)

Hired to fix leak in fireplace Was told I would be free of all rain water in fireplace and guaranteed no more water.48 hours later it rained and had flood in fireplace. He was called back and only came back when I stated I would seek legal representation. Adrian then repointed areas of fireplace with a different color mortar then original so stands out horribly. 3 days later rained and still had a flood in fireplace. I Would not recommend Ang construction and 2 other quotes from other contractors concur that this was horrible and lazy work Stay away !!! He is a fraud !!!

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
