A Jack of Trades

We hired Rodney /Jack of Trades after meeting with him and found him to be extremely helpful. We needed a complete bathroom remodel from floor to ceiling. The room needed to be gutted and I thought I know exactly what I wanted. After discussing it with Rodney, he helped me through the planning stage and led me in the right direction to attain my "wow" bathroom I was looking for. We also had him tile a sunroom and had him do some new doors and outside repairs. The work was done timely, communication was awesome and everything came out even better than I expected. Rodney is so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Rodney for any building/renovations that you need.

It was a JOY working with Rod and the team at A Jack of Trades. He was professional, flexible, easy to work with, and most importantly, INCREDIBLY transparent about pricing/budget and timing. He was able to deliver our new kitchen and 2 bathrooms efficiently and without any hiccups even in the midst of potential challenges due to the unexpected global pandemic! We're already looking at additional projects where we can use Rod in our 30-year-old home. He does fantastic work and coordinates everything for us recommending wonderful subs (ie Kitchen designer!) where necessary. We're happy to recommend him to everyone we know!

We were so fortunate to find Rodney and his Jack of Trades contracting business. We had just recently purchased a home in Standish in need of several renovations. Rodney responded to our request of his services within 24 hours. We scheduled an initial visit to discuss our needs. Rodney was extremely helpful in laying out a plan for a multi-phased renovation which included carpentry, plumbing, heating, painting, and electrical work. He assembled a team of experts in each of the needed areas - each showing skill in their trade, respect for our home and our needs. Having him orchestrate the phases and the work involved met our needs allowing us the security and confidence the job would be well done. Rodney not only came in under budget but well within the time frame we laid out.

Rodney just completed a full kitchen remodel for us, in addition to lots of other small projects such as power washing our roof, adding an outdoor light, adding replacement windows, and patching wall and ceiling holes in our 1930 home. Rodney had many good ideas for us and we are very happy with the results. Rodney and his crew are reliable, talented, courteous, and neat. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. Rodney is an excellent communicator. We plan on using him again in the spring for a bathroom re-do. We highly recommend A Jack of Trades.

Rodney has done a variety projects for me. Painting, replacing doors, put flooring in my attic. My bathroom fan was incorrectly vented and he fixed that, venting it to the outside. He fixed a large hole in my kitchen ceiling. Rodney is professional and friendly. He gets work completed when he says it will be done. He gives a complete estimate breaking down the cost of everything in the job. He has never gone over the estimate price
